They will assist the accounting team in maintaining vendor records and ensuring timely payments. The ideal candidate provides exceptional support to the accounting team by responding to payment inquiries from contractors and other departments. <strong><em>This position is remote but must be located in New York.</em></strong></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Assist the accounts payable workflow using NetSuite and other programs. </li> <li>Maintain vendor records for independent contractors, including W-9s. </li> <li>Interface with the vendor support team to maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.</li> <li>Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.</li> <li>Tracing transactions with our bank and performing accounting duties such as recording journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>You have high attention to detail</li> <li>You maintain high-performance expectations for yourself and your colleagues</li> <li>You have a sense of urgency</li> <li>Thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment</li> <li>Great communicator in person, by phone or in email</li> <li>Data entry- speed and accuracy </li> <li>You are excited to learn new things and have a desire to improve upon</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Associate’s degree or higher in Business-related or Accounting-related field preferred.</li> <li>3-6 months in an Accounts Payable role preferred.</li> <li>Experience with Quickbooks</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required, familiarity with Microsoft Office products and PDF editors is a plus. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Part-time Position (EST)</strong><br><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $25.00-$25.00</p>
