This role involves managing and optimizing enterprise IT systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and efficiency to meet the operational needs of a telecom-focused organization. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to maintain seamless IT operations, resolve technical issues, and support the unique requirements of telecom services.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>• Administer and maintain IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, storage, and cloud platforms, to support telecom operations.</p><p>• Ensure the performance, security, and availability of enterprise IT systems tailored to the telecom industry’s needs.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams to support telecom-specific applications and integrations.</p><p>• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and IT resources across various systems.</p><p>• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.</p><p>• Implement and manage data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with telecom industry standards, data protection regulations, and company policies.</p><p>• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.</p><p>• Provide technical support to end users, ensuring effective communication and resolution of IT-related concerns.</p><p>• Research and recommend technology upgrades or enhancements to optimize IT operations.</p><p>• Stay updated on the latest IT trends and practices relevant to the telecom sector.</p><p>• Follow SOC2 protocols to ensure the company’s compliance with industry standards for security and data privacy.</p><p>• Handle other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the team’s success and business objectives.</p><p>• Must learn proprietary applications.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Must have good English proficiency, both written and verbal.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.</li><li>Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator, preferably in a telecom-focused organization.</li><li>Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and cloud environments.</li><li>Proficiency in managing enterprise software, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and IT tools.</li><li>Knowledge of telecom industry applications and requirements is a significant advantage.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to system management. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with teams and supporting users.</li><li>Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.</li><li>Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Server+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are advantageous.</li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, remote working environment.</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>You must live in El Salvador or in other LATAM countries outside of the US.</p><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong><br/> This is a remote position.
