We work directly with different industries including Automotive, Energy, Aeronautics, Banking & Insurance, Telecom & Multimedia, and Rail; offering services ranging from project design development to test/validation, programming, implementation, and manufacturing. </p><p></p><p>ALTEN Mexico as a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group is currently working with international clients, and we are looking for a CFD Analyst who will contribute to the development of an Iron Air Battery, a large-scale energy storage solution, with flow and heat-transfer simulation for scrubber, piping, cold-weather, and altitude-related work.</p><p></p><p>📍 Location: Remote<br /> 🕒 Experience Level: 5+ years<br /> 🌐 English: B2–C1<br /> </p><p> </p>Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Develop CFD models for scrubber vessel concepts, integrated ducting, outlet filtration, piping, fittings, and baffles.</li><li>Assess flow rate, pressure drop, flowback risk, thermal impacts, and distribution uniformity.</li><li>Support altitude and cold-weather design assessments using available requirements and test results.</li><li>Perform design iterations and recommend geometry or component changes.</li><li>Document model setup, assumptions, mesh independence, results, risks, and validation needs.</li></ul> Must‑Have Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field.</li><li>5+ years of CFD or thermal-fluids analysis experience.</li><li>Hands-on experience with CFD software such as ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, or equivalent.</li><ul><li>Internal-flow CFD, pressure drop, flow distribution, recirculation, multiphase awareness, and thermal/heat-transfer analysis.</li></ul><li>Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and numerical methods.</li><ul><li>Mesh generation, turbulence modeling, boundary-condition definition, convergence assessment, and result verification.</li><li>Flow balancing for ducts, baffles, vessels, piping, fittings, scrubber systems, pumps, and heaters.</li></ul></ul><p></p><p>English level B2–C1.</p><p> </p>Desirable Skills <p>Industry Knowledge:</p><ul><li>Experience in energy storage systems (e.g., batteries, iron-air technology).</li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with large-scale mechanical or industrial projects.</li></ul><p>Software and Tools:</p><ul><li>Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems (e.g., TeamCenter, Windchill).</li></ul><p>Innovation and Optimization:</p><ul><li>Experience in design optimization (e.g., topology optimization, weight reduction).</li><li>Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly design practices.</li></ul><p>Manufacturing and Materials:</p><ul><li>Understanding of advanced manufacturing processes (e.g., additive manufacturing, CNC machining).</li><li>Knowledge of material selection for extreme environments (e.g., corrosion resistance, high-temperature materials).</li></ul><p> </p>Soft Skills <ul><li>Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration.</li><li>Technical leadership and decision‑making capability.</li><li>Problem‑solving and analytical thinking.</li><li>Time management and ability to operate under tight deadlines.</li><li>Detail‑oriented mindset with strong documentation discipline.</li><li>Supplier coordination and negotiation skills.</li><li>Continuous improvement and robust design focus.</li></ul><p> </p><p></p> <ul><li> Competitive salary </li><li> Benefits above those required by law </li><li> Career growth and development plan </li><li> Remote work scheme</li></ul>
