Currently working with international clients, and we are looking for a Plastics Engineer who will contribute to the development of an Iron Air Battery, a large-scale energy storage solution, as a plastic component and tooling cost-optimization specialist.</p><p></p><p>📍 Location: Remote<br /> 🕒 Experience Level: 5+ years<br /> 🌐 English: B2–C1<br /> </p><p> </p>Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Review custom plastic components and identify lower-cost materials, geometry, tooling, and manufacturing methods.</li><li>Develop rotomolded or thermoformed scrubber-vessel concepts with integrated features.</li><li>Drive supplier DFM reviews and incorporate feasible recommendations into CAD and drawings.</li><li>Evaluate tooling simplification, part consolidation, assembly reduction, quality risk, and validation needs.</li><li>Support nonconformance analysis for injection-molded components.</li></ul> Must‑Have Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, or related field.</li><li>5+ years of plastics product development, process engineering, tooling, or supplier engineering experience.</li><li>Experience with injection molding plus at least one of rotomolding or thermoforming preferred.</li><li>Experience with polymer material selection, tooling, and supplier DFM.</li><li>Experience in part consolidation, wall-thickness control, draft, ribs, bosses, undercuts, shrinkage, warpage, and tolerance design</li><li>Working knowledge of plastic part design, tooling economics, DFM, GD&T, and supplier qualification.</li></ul><ul><li>English level B2–C1.</li></ul><p> </p>Soft Skills <ul><li>Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration.</li><li>Technical leadership and decision‑making capability.</li><li>Problem‑solving and analytical thinking.</li><li>Time management and ability to operate under tight deadlines.</li><li>Detail‑oriented mindset with strong documentation discipline.</li><li>Supplier coordination and negotiation skills.</li><li>Continuous improvement and robust design focus.</li></ul><p> </p><p></p> <ul><li> Competitive salary </li><li> Benefits above those required by law </li><li> Career growth and development plan </li><li> Remote work scheme</li></ul>
