<p>In ALTEN we are seeking a Front Suspension Design Engineer to lead the redesign of front suspension systems for next-gen electric vehicles. You will focus on transitioning from transverse leaf springs to coil-over spring architectures, ensuring compatibility with steering, driveline, and chassis systems. This role requires a strong background in mechanical design, package integration, and durability analysis, with a hands-on approach to solving complex engineering challenges.</p><p></p>🔧 Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop conceptual and detailed designs for front suspension systems, including subframe and wheel-end components.</li><li>Perform package studies to ensure compatibility with steering, driveline, and chassis interfaces.</li><li>Evaluate trade-offs between carryover, modified, and new designs, focusing on cost, mass, durability, and serviceability.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (chassis, driveline, thermal) to align designs with vehicle-level requirements.</li><li>Document assumptions, risks, and interfaces to support decision-making.</li><li>Lead design reviews and present technical recommendations to stakeholders.</li></ul> ✅ Required Skills & Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years of experience in suspension/chassis design (automotive or EV industry).</li><li>Expertise in CATIA V5/3DEXPERIENCE (mandatory for surface, assembly, and drafting).</li><li>Experience with durability analysis, ride & handling, and torque steer mitigation.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Fluent English (technical communication with global teams).</li><li>Willingness to relocate to the USA (support provided for visa/work permit if needed).</li><li>Basic management skills: Ability to mentor junior engineers, coordinate tasks, and manage small projects.</li></ul><p></p>🌟 Nice-to-Have:<ul><li>Experience with EV architectures or electrified driveline systems.</li><li>Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).</li><li>Familiarity with simulation tools (ANSYS, ADAMS, MATLAB/Simulink).</li></ul> <ul><li>Sueldo base</li><li>Seguro de Gastos Médicos Mayores (incluye plan dental y visión)</li><li>15 días de aguinaldo</li><li>25% de prima vacacional</li><li>12 días de vacaciones (A partir del primer año)</li><li>Seguro social</li><li>Vales de despensa quincenales</li></ul>
