We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.</p></div><p> </p> <p>As a Structural Analysis Engineer you will be responsible for;</p> <ul class="___14cu5j8 fdgang7 f1hu3pq6 f19f4twv fuxrj8o"> <li>Applying engineering mechanics and physics-based analysis methods to evaluate system performance and support design decisions.</li> <li>Performing structural assessments using classical hand calculations, finite element analysis, and simulation techniques.</li> <li>Analyzing components and assemblies for strength, stiffness, fatigue life, fracture resistance, and overall structural integrity.</li> <li>Supporting requirements development and ensuring designs align with customer, program, and regulatory expectations.</li> <li>Partnering with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and improve product performance.</li> <li>Reviewing designs, analyses, and verification activities to provide independent technical evaluation and recommendations.</li> <li>Generating technical reports, compliance documentation, and presentations that clearly communicate analysis results and engineering rationale.</li> <li>Supporting qualification, verification, and validation efforts throughout the product development lifecycle.</li> <li>Contributing to internal engineering standards, best practices, training materials, and process improvements.</li> <li>Taking ownership of technical deliverables while driving projects forward in a collaborative team environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong data-lexical-text="true">Qualifications;</strong></p> <ul class="___14cu5j8 fdgang7 f1hu3pq6 f19f4twv fuxrj8o"> <li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.</li> <li>4-7 years of experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated engineering environments.</li> <li>Experience applying structural mechanics, dynamics, kinematics, and physics-based modeling techniques.</li> <li>Strong background in finite element analysis, structural simulation, and engineering verification methods.</li> <li>Required experience with SolidWorks.</li> <li>Experience with FEMAP, NASTRAN, LS-DYNA, Python, and Microsoft Office.</li> <li>CATIA V5 experience preferred.</li> <li>Background in pressurized actuation systems, pneumatic mechanisms, ordnance systems, or similar hardware is preferred.</li> <li>Aerospace industry experience preferred; candidates from other regulated industries will also be considered.</li> <li>Experience working in requirements-driven environments with compliance, regulatory, and verification responsibilities.</li> <li>Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and the theory behind analytical and computational methods.</li> <li>Demonstrated sense of ownership, initiative, accountability, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none">Salary Range: $135,000 - $165,000</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none">Location: Fully Remote</span></strong></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience</span> <span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559738":100,"335559739":100,"335559740":240}"> </span></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto"><strong>Note:</strong> Due to the nature of the work, only US Persons (citizens or permanent residents) need apply for this position.</span></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, genetic information, or pregnancy.</p> <p><em><strong>Please beware of job seeker scams and see this <a href="https://www.alten.com/careers/job-offers/">important notice</a> on our careers page for more information about our recruiting process.</strong></em></p> <p><strong>Compliance Notice: </strong>Alten USA is a federal contractor subject to the requirements of the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) and Executive Order 11246.
