Caliber Account Executives play a key role in supporting our client engagements by laying and evolving the foundation of our client work and supporting our account teams. The annual salary range for this position is $50,000 to $70,000 + bonuses + commission opportunities + benefits. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop a better understanding of PR as well as our industries of focus -  financial services, fintech, insurtech and proptech.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our team represents a talented and inclusive workforce. Candidates are expected to work both collaboratively supporting client accounts and independently, owning individual projects and assignments. </p><p> </p><p><strong><em>About your responsibilities</em></strong></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Serve as the primary support on a group of accounts, coordinating directly with the account lead(s) to ensure proper coverage of clients, including:</span></p><ul><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Drafting and editing press releases on behalf of clients.</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Drafting and editing social media posts on behalf of clients.</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Compiling, researching, and managing media lists across broadcast, podcast, online and print media outlets.</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Compiling and managing awards, events & speaking opportunity lists. Preparing and managing reporting and metrics for clients, in partnership with the account team.</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Compiling and reviewing client reports, including analyzing  communications and media metrics.</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Developing creative ways to pitch the media, particularly in the B2B and B2C fintech, finance, and technology spaces, to secure client coverage.</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Pitching targeted media on assigned clients and coordinating ownership of specific pitches with account lead(s) </span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Setting and managing evolving internal and external deadlines, ensuring proper communication with the internal team and clients.</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Supporting the team on overarching client needs, by serving as a key point person for any projects that may arise outside of your client group.</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><em>About our Ideal Candidate</em></strong></p><ul><li>One (1) year minimum relevant experience in the PR/Communications field, ideally within the technology, business or financial services sectors</li><li>Strong writer with passion for storytelling</li><li>Enthusiasm for fintech and financial services and their constant innovation and evolution</li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Intellectual curiosity about businesses and how strategic marketing communications plays a role in a business’ growth</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Solutions oriented with a ‘can do’ attitude</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Passionate communicator with great presentation skills</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Team player, supportive and considerate of others</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A student of the media – identifying new publications, writers and relevant topics</span></li></ul><p><em><strong>Caliber is an Equal Opportunity Employer</strong></em></p><p dir="ltr"><em>Caliber Corporate Advisers is an Equal Opportunity Employer that is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.
