<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting accurate revenue cycle processes and ensuring timely reimbursement for healthcare &amp; therapy services.</p> <p>You would be responsible for accurate claim submission, payment posting, denial follow-up, and insurance communication related to services provided. This role works closely with clinical teams, front office staff, and leadership to ensure clean claims and strong financial performance.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Review documentation for billing accuracy and completeness</li> <li>Submit insurance claims in a timely manner</li> <li>Post payments and reconcile accounts</li> <li>Investigate and resolve denied or rejected claims</li> <li>Communicate with insurance companies regarding authorizations, eligibility, and claim status</li> <li>Work patient accounts including balances, adjustments, and follow-up</li> <li>Ensure compliance with payer requirements and coding guidelines</li> <li>Support productivity and revenue cycle reporting needs</li> <li>Collaborate with clinic teams to improve billing workflows</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you will need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in outpatient physical, occupational, and/or speech therapy</li> <li>Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and payer-specific billing requirements</li> <li>Understanding of ICD-10 coding, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and reimbursement processes</li> <li>Familiarity with outpatient therapy regulations and guidelines</li> <li>Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently</li> <li>Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and billing software systems</li> <li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across clinical and administrative teams</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Health, vision, dental, HSAs, &amp; FSAs</li> <li>401(k) plan with employer contribution</li> <li>Paid time off that begins accruing on day one</li> <li>Work from home (Must be based out of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, Wyoming, or Idaho)</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen</em></strong></p> <p><span style="color: #3a773a;"><strong>ABOUT CARINGEDGE</strong></span><br />CaringEdge is a division of Edgewood Healthcare providing home health, hospice, and outpatient therapy services in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, and Wyoming.
