<p>Position Title: Full-Stack QA Engineer</p><p>Reporting Line: Reports directly to the QA Lead.</p><p>Location: Fully Remote</p><p>General Purpose: Own and continuously improve product quality by testing new features, identifying defects, creating automated tests, recommending process and product improvements, and developing strong feature and product knowledge.</p><p>Specific Objectives (~12 months):</p><ul><li>Develop strong product and feature knowledge to independently test assigned product areas.</li><li>Deliver reliable, consistent, and clearly documented testing outcomes.</li><li>Take end-to-end ownership of quality across assigned product areas throughout the development and release lifecycle.</li><li>Support and expand automated test coverage across agreed product areas.</li></ul><p>Key Activities:</p><ul><li>Perform thorough functional, integration, API, regression, and exploratory testing of assigned features and product areas.</li><li>Review requirements and acceptance criteria to identify quality risks, gaps, and unclear behavior.</li><li>Document defects clearly, including reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidence.</li><li>Develop and maintain automated test scripts for assigned product features and regression scenarios.</li><li>Investigate failed or unstable automated tests and improve test-suite reliability.</li><li>Continuously build product and technical knowledge by reviewing relevant documentation and project updates.</li><li>Ask timely and relevant questions to clarify requirements, risks, and expected product behavior.</li><li>Collaborate with developers, product managers, and the QA Lead to investigate and resolve quality issues.</li><li>Participate in release validation and clearly communicate quality risks before deployment.</li><li>Use approved AI tools to improve productivity, accelerate testing activities, and streamline day-to-day QA work.</li><li>Demonstrate active engagement and ownership of product quality throughout the development and release lifecycle.</li></ul> <p>Key Competences:</p><ul><li>Strong ownership of and accountability for product quality.</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail and a strong quality assurance mindset.</li><li>Genuine interest in the product and motivation to understand how its features and underlying systems work.</li><li>Ability to consider the broader product context rather than focusing only on individual test steps.</li><li>Commitment to improving the product and continuously developing as a QA specialist.</li><li>Practical experience in web application testing.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and switch effectively between different tasks.</li><li>Experience developing and maintaining automated tests.</li><li>Ability to use approved AI tools effectively to improve testing quality and productivity.</li><li>Experience developing and maintaining automated tests (E2E: TypeScript/JavaScript with Playwright; API integration testing: Python).</li></ul><p>Likely Current Job:</p><ul><li>Full-Stack QA Engineer or Senior Full-Stack QA Engineer.</li><li>QA Engineer combining manual and automated testing responsibilities.</li><li>Currently employed by companies operating in forex, trading, cryptocurrency, or financial services.</li></ul> <p>Employer Value Proposition:</p><ul><li>Take meaningful ownership of product quality while working on complex financial products and engaging features in a fully remote company.</li><li>Develop automation and AI capabilities through practical day-to-day application, with direct opportunities to improve testing processes and product outcomes.</li></ul><p>Compensation: Competitive base salary with eligibility for performance-based bonuses.</p><p>Assessment Process:</p><ul><li>First-stage interview with the QA Lead and Product Owner.</li><li>Final-stage interview with the CTO.</li></ul>
