Your details will be kept on file and considered for future opportunities as they become available.</p><p></p><p>We are looking for a Carbon Analyst responsible for collecting, analysing and reporting carbon emissions data, preparing carbon calculations, supporting client reporting and assisting with wider sustainability projects.</p><p>Initially, the role will focus on handling the time-consuming data collection and reporting work that underpins client projects, allowing the consultant to focus on business development and client relationships.</p><p>Over time, the successful candidate will become an integral member of the team and take ownership of increasingly complex sustainability reporting.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Carbon Accounting &amp; Reporting</li><li>Collect, review and organise client energy, gas and utility data.</li><li>Analyse electricity, gas and fuel invoices across multiple client sites.</li><li>Calculate Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions.</li><li>Prepare carbon footprint calculations.</li><li>Assist in producing Carbon Reduction Plans.</li><li>Support carbon reporting for clients across a range of industries.</li><li>Ensure all calculations are accurate and compliant with recognised reporting standards.</li><li>Maintain detailed audit trails and supporting documentation.</li><li>Sustainability Support</li><li>Assist with sustainability reporting and documentation.</li><li>Research sustainability legislation and compliance requirements.</li><li>Support ESG and environmental reporting projects.</li><li>Prepare client reports and presentation material.</li><li>Monitor regulatory and compliance updates.</li><li>Assist with sustainability data collection and verification.</li><li>Data Management</li><li>Extract information from utility bills, invoices and spreadsheets.</li><li>Maintain accurate emissions databases.</li><li>Perform quality assurance checks on data.</li><li>Organise large volumes of client information.</li><li>Identify missing or inconsistent data.</li><li>Maintain structured project files and documentation.</li><li>Business Support</li><li>Prepare proposal support documentation.</li><li>Assist with research for client projects.</li><li>Produce charts, summaries and reports.</li><li>Support process improvement initiatives.</li><li>Help automate reporting workflows using AI where appropriate.</li></ul><p></p> <p>Essential Skills &amp;
