You will be expected to <b>grow revenue</b> and awareness of Abcam’s broad product range, focusing on direct customer engagement with specific Biopharma &amp; Academic customers, and collaboration with Channel Partners, with a secondary focus on KOL engagement.</p><p></p><p>This position reports to the Commercial Manager, Central Asia, and is part of the JAPAC Marketing &amp; Sales Team. This role will be fully remote, based in Bengaluru, India.</p><p></p><p><b>In this role, you will have the opportunity to:</b></p><ul><li><b>Develop Deep Client Relationships: </b>Establish trusted, long-term relationships with senior decision-makers in Biotech/Pharma customers to ensure Abcam is their trusted partner</li><li><b>Strategic Planning:</b> Develop Strategic Account strategies that include <b>Revenue growth</b>, project pipelines, and stakeholder maps to deliver unambiguous share gain</li><li><b>Business Growth: </b>Independently and in collaboration with Abcam’s Indian Channel Partners, proactively identify, develop, and Close New Business Opportunities</li><li><b>Cross Functional Collaboration:</b> Collaborate with Central Asia Marketing &amp; Sales team, Customer Support teams, Finance, Supply Chain &amp; Digital to deliver solutions to customers&#39; pain points</li><li><b>Pipeline Management &amp; Reporting: </b>Use of CRM to plan and manage sales activities, managing pipeline, qualifying leads and managing funnel with regular management reporting</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The essential requirements of the job include:</b></p><ul><li>MSc in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Microbiology fields</li><li>3-5 years of experience in science based solution selling in the Life Science market in Pharma and Biotech in the territory</li><li>Strong knowledge of the Indian market dynamics, business regulations, and Channel Partner networks to drive growing Revenue and competitive differentiation</li><li>Excellent in managing customer interface and relationship, both at the scientific end-user level, decision-making level and procurement levels</li><li>Have strong oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills in English</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Travel, Motor Vehicle Record &amp; Physical/Environment Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Ability to travel 75% of the time across India and occasionally within the JAPAC region</li></ul><p></p><p><b>It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:</b></p><ul><li>Have a global perspective and enjoy collaboration with senior leaders, in particular the Global Leadership Team as well as the JAPAC Regional Marketing &amp; Sales Teams</li><li>Possess a high degree of work ethic and professional transparency</li></ul><p></p><div><p><span><span>Abcam</span><span>,</span><span><span> </span></span></span><span><span>a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
