<h2>Overview</h2> <p>DecisionPoint seeks a <strong>Disaster Recovery (DR) Documentation</strong><strong> and Compliance Analyst</strong> to develop, maintain, and govern all continuity-related documentation in support of a large federal and DoD-aligned IT environment. This role ensures all Disaster Recovery, Continuity of Operations (COOP), contingency, and failover documentation is accurate, version-controlled, 508-compliant, and aligned with federal and DoD cybersecurity and RMF (Risk Management Framework) requirements. </p> <p>The DR Documentation and Compliance Analyst will support audit readiness, compliance evidence collection, DR runbook updates, RMF CP-family control documentation, and coordination across engineering, cybersecurity, compliance, and continuity teams. </p> <p><em>This position is fully remote.</em> </p> <h2>Duties & Responsibilities</h2> <p>The DR Documentation and Compliance Analyst will: </p> <ul> <li>Maintain and update Disaster Recovery runbooks, procedures, COOP plans, and contingency documentation. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ensure all documentation meets RMF control requirements, particularly the Contingency Planning (CP) control family. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Maintain version control, document history, naming standards, and archival procedures. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ensure all materials are 508-compliant, accessible, and properly formatted. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Assist with the creation of AARs, CAPs, DR test reports, and DR readiness documentation. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Support audit and assessment teams by preparing and delivering evidence, diagrams, and documentation packages. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Coordinate with continuity, engineering, cybersecurity, and database teams to collect updates and validate technical accuracy. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Maintain content in shared repositories, documentation portals, and knowledge management systems. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Track changes across systems and update documentation to reflect new architecture, configurations, and processes. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Develop templates, style guides, and document standards for DR and COOP materials. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Support continuous improvement of documentation workflows, quality processes, and compliance alignment. </li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Clearance Requirement</strong> </p> <p>Must hold an active Top Secret clearance, supported by a Tier 5 background investigation. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Education (Required)</strong> </p> <p>Bachelor’s degree in Information Assurance, Information Technology, Technical Writing, or a related field. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Experience (Required)</strong> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Minimum 5 years</strong> of experience in technical writing, DR documentation, compliance documentation, or IT governance. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience writing or maintaining COOP, DR, or RMF-related documentation. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience preparing control evidence, audit materials, or RMF artifacts. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience working with engineering and cybersecurity teams to validate content accuracy. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience maintaining version-controlled documentation repositories. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Technical Knowledge (Required)</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of DR, COOP, and contingency planning documentation requirements. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Knowledge of RMF controls, particularly the CP (Contingency Planning) family. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Familiarity with accessibility requirements and 508-compliant formatting. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with ITIL v4 documentation and process alignment. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical Knowledge (Preferred)</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting federal or DoD programs. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with document automation, workflows, or content management systems. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Familiarity with cybersecurity policy, audit frameworks, or compliance tools. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Certifications</strong> </p> <p><strong>Required:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>ITIL v4 Foundation </li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>CompTIA Security+ </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Certified Technical Writer or similar credential </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Skills</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Strong writing and editing abilities with attention to detail and accuracy. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to translate technical content into clear, structured documentation. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Excellent organizational skills for managing document repositories and versioning. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical and compliance teams. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong communication skills for audit coordination and documentation reviews. </li> </ul> <h2>Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy</h2> <ul> <li><strong>EEO and Affirmative Action Policy:</strong> DecisionPoint Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
