<p><strong>Location:</strong> Remote (Pakistan)<br/> <strong>Department:</strong> Operations<br/> <strong>Reporting to:</strong> Operations Manager (UK) / Lead Shift Coordinator<br/> <strong>Hours:</strong> 44 hours per week (shift-based)</p><h3>About the role</h3><p>We are seeking a talented <strong>Logistics Coordinator (Live Operations)</strong> to join our young and dynamic team. This is a fast-paced, operational role where you will support day-to-day delivery performance by coordinating <strong>drivers/riders and zones in real time</strong>, solving issues as they happen, and keeping our teams aligned via phone, messaging groups and Slack.</p><p>You’ll work closely with the <strong>Lead Shift Coordinator</strong> and <strong>Field Coordinators</strong>, supporting live execution across our UK operations. If you’re highly organised, calm under pressure, confident communicating with large rider groups, and comfortable working with data in spreadsheets, this role is for you.</p><h3>Shift pattern & working hours (UK time)</h3><p>Our operation runs <strong>Sunday to Saturday (7 days a week)</strong>. You will be expected to work <strong>Saturdays and Sundays</strong> (rota-based).<br/> Hours of operation vary between <strong>06:00 and 00:00 (midnight) UK time</strong>, and your shifts will be scheduled within this window depending on operational needs.<br/><br/><strong>What you’ll do (Responsibilities)</strong></p><ul><li> Support the <strong>Lead Shift Coordinator</strong> and <strong>Field Coordinators</strong> with <strong>driver/rider coordination and zone management</strong>. </li><li> Lead and coordinate <strong>50–100 Driver/Riders</strong>, ensuring the right coverage and smooth running of daily operations. </li><li> Provide fast, professional support to <strong>rider queries</strong> via <strong>phone</strong> and <strong>messaging groups</strong> (e.g., WhatsApp/Telegram), keeping communication clear and structured. </li><li> Resolve <strong>customer/ops queries</strong> via <strong>Slack channels</strong> and over the phone, escalating when required and documenting outcomes. </li><li> Speak with riders regularly to understand issues, remove blockers, improve attendance, and maintain service standards. </li><li> Supervise riders’ <strong>hours</strong>, <strong>shift confirmations/approvals</strong>, <strong>payments support</strong>, and general administration. </li><li> Support operational performance and protect key KPIs, including <strong>Collection On-Time</strong> indicators and other live metrics. </li><li> Maintain accurate logs/trackers and ensure strong shift handovers (open issues, actions taken, next steps). </li><li> Complete a range of <strong>ad hoc tasks</strong> to support the team and keep Live Ops running smoothly.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><strong>University degree</strong> (however, we will consider equivalent professional and life experience). </li><li> <strong>Exceptional organisational skills</strong> and strong attention to detail. </li><li> <strong>Stress-resistant</strong>: able to stay calm, prioritise, and make decisions in a live, fast-changing environment. </li><li> <strong>Entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset</strong> and willingness to “get your hands dirty” when operations need it. </li><li> A <strong>driven and coolly confident</strong> approach with the ability to build credibility and day-to-day team leadership. </li><li> <strong>Relentless work ethic</strong> and willingness to go the extra mile when required (peaks/incidents). </li><li> Strong experience using <strong>Microsoft Office</strong>, especially <strong>Excel</strong>, plus <strong>Google Drive / Google Sheets</strong>, with a keen eye for data accuracy and trends. </li><li> <strong>Health & Safety knowledge</strong> is a plus (we will train you). </li><li> <strong>Multi-drop logistics / last-mile experience</strong> is a plus. </li><li> Strong <strong>English communication</strong> skills (written and spoken) for working with UK stakeholders and rider teams. </li><li> Reliable internet connection and a professional remote working setup. </li><li> A <strong>clear criminal background check</strong> is required (the company will carry this out if one is not already in place).</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Full training & induction provided</strong> </li><li> <strong>Paid training</strong> </li><li> <strong>44 hours/week</strong> </li><li> <strong>Payments made to your bank account in Pakistan</strong> </li><li> <strong>Flexible hours</strong> (rota managed via an online app so you can track your schedule) </li><li> <strong>Career opportunities</strong> and potential to progress within the business </li><li> Join a <strong>fast-growing company</strong> with a young and dynamic team</li></ul>
