Leisure Operations Support - GDS: Sabre - Full Time Remote at Direct Travel

The Leisure Operations Support role provides customer service and full administrative support for all operational processes involved in selling travel for our leisure advisors.     This position is 100% Remote   Position Overview   As a member of the North American support team, you will need a strong GDS background with at least 5 years GDS experience (Sabre required, Additional GDS helpful) is needed for a leisure support hybrid role.  We are looking for someone with proven GDS and invoicing skills to work with leisure agents and Independent Contractors.   Expedition Expectations   * Work closely with both the Advisor support and Air teams in both US and Canada * Respond to written requests in timely fashion * Issue domestic and international tickets for leisure agents/ICs * Issue group space, individual reservations, exchanges and partial refunds as needed * Look for lowest fares and research airline contracts for negotiated commissions * Coordinate seat assignments * Resolve issues with invalid invoices in GDS/assist will new invoice requests in Sabre * Assist with tracking commission Passport to Success   * 5+ years GDS /Travel Agency experience (GDS: Sabre required) * Ability to thrive in a fast paced, team environment * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software * GDS Experience with Sabre required and alternate GDS(Apollo/Amadeus/Wspan) a plus * Demonstrated professional customer service skills * Attention to Detail * Pragmatic and self-disciplined * Capability of maintaining a favorable company image when interfacing with outside sources * Proven pursuit of learning and self-development * Ability to manage responsibilities in a manner to result in lower costs and better efficiency for the company * Ability to demonstrate personal and organizational integrity * Capability of working in a team environment supporting management and staff, following policies, providing feedback, assisting in special projects, and taking on additional responsibility * Effective oral and written communications skills * Organizational skills that result in high productivity  Embark on the next step in your career journey with Direct Travel!     As one of the fastest growing Travel Management Companies (TMC) in the world, Direct Travel is committed to reimagining what is possible for the industry, including business travel, personalized experiences, and meetings & events.
