We help customers turn digital ambition into successful implementation through close collaboration, humility, and pride in what we deliver.</p></div><div><p></p></div><div><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p></div><div><p>ELITS Canada is looking for an experienced <strong>Azure Solution Architect</strong> for a <strong>remote consulting assignment</strong> <strong>based in Canada</strong>. Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada and able to perform the role remotely from within Canada.</p></div><div><p></p></div><div><p>In this role, you will support the evaluation, architecture, and planning of secure and scalable corporate applications built on <strong>Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric</strong>. You will work closely with customer stakeholders to provide recommendations on infrastructure, security, architecture, governance, and cost, with a focus on practical delivery options for internal platforms that may later evolve into external customer facing services.</p></div><div><p></p></div><div><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p></div><div><p>• Assess business and technical requirements for new corporate applications within <strong>Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric</strong>.</p></div><div><p>• Provide architecture recommendations for secure, scalable, and reliable deployment of internal business platforms and artificial intelligence enabled solutions.</p></div><div><p>• Evaluate and refine proposed production architectures involving <strong>PostgreSQL 16</strong>, <strong>pgvector</strong>, <strong>Neo4j</strong>, and <strong>Docker</strong> based deployment models.</p></div><div><p>• Advise on suitable infrastructure, security, governance, and cost optimization approaches within the customer’s Microsoft cloud environment.</p></div><div><p>• Support the design of a secure <strong>research and development</strong>, (<strong>R&amp;D</strong>), artificial intelligence assistant that combines internal knowledge, quality documentation, SharePoint content, and approved external publications.</p></div><div><p>• Help define solution patterns that protect confidential know how and intellectual property while enabling accurate and reliable access to technical information.</p></div><div><p>• Collaborate with customer stakeholders and technical specialists to shape implementation plans, platform recommendations, and future roadmap decisions.</p></div><div><p></p></div><div><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p></div><div><p>• <strong>Bachelor’s degree or higher</strong> in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, with at least <strong>five years of relevant professional experience</strong>.</p></div><div><p>• Senior level experience in <strong>Microsoft Azure</strong> architecture, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise solution design.</p></div><div><p>• Strong knowledge of application architecture, cloud security, governance, and cost management in Microsoft cloud environments.</p></div><div><p>• Experience designing solutions involving <strong>PostgreSQL</strong>, containerized deployments, and modern platform architecture patterns.</p></div><div><p>• Understanding of <strong>Microsoft Fabric</strong>, data platforms, and architectures that support analytics, knowledge retrieval, or artificial intelligence driven applications.</p></div><div><p>• Experience with identity and access management, information security, and protection of sensitive data and intellectual property.</p></div><div><p>• Strong consulting, stakeholder communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical technical recommendations.</p></div><div><p></p></div><div><p><strong>Qualities</strong></p></div><div><p>• Communicative, positive, and customer oriented.</p></div><div><p>• Strong analytical skills, logical reasoning, and problem solving abilities.</p></div><div><p>• Responsible, autonomous, and resourceful.</p></div><div><p>• Team oriented, organized, and committed to quality results.</p></div><div><p>• Creative and proactive, with ideas to improve products and processes.</p></div><div><p>• Able to coordinate and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.</p></div><div><p></p></div><div><p>Are you a social, flexible, and structured person with a great interest in information technology?
