<p>Description</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The Retail and Food Service Account Sales Representative is responsible for establishing and maintaining long-term customer</p><p>relationships by developing business and providing outstanding customer service in an assigned territory, as well as reinforcing sales management practices to enhance all levels of sales and profit.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Gather and analyze market intelligence to determine potential sales of our specialty foods and provide information as needed to supervisor</li><li>Establish and plan the expansion of our client base in assigned territory based on analysis and understanding of customer demographics, preferences, and needs</li><li>Determine customer needs and provide solutions</li><li>Conduct product demonstrations that support identified needs and solutions</li><li>Prepare and deliver sales proposals, maintain customer prices, provide contract updates, miscellaneous administrative needs that customer request</li><li>Consistently meet sales goals, providing VP of Sales weekly sales activities and sales goal progress</li><li>Monitor customers’ receivables and follow-up with past due accounts to ensure they do not get past 60 days</li><li>Promote Company capabilities, marketing promotions and programs to customers</li><li>Attend all sales meetings</li><li>Respond promptly to emails with customers and other associates in professional manner</li><li>Knowledge of daily seafood/meat inventory and availability and contact customers as needed to provide updates.</li><li>Review out of stocks daily and contract customers to offer substitutes and offer solutions</li><li>Review buyer Specialty product updates as needed and provide solutions to customers</li><li>Continually educate yourself on products, product applications and portfolio</li><li>Introduce new items, provide promotions and walk stores it identify additional items to offer customers.</li><li>Additional responsibilities may be assigned specific to work locations or line of business</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Working Conditions</strong></p><ul><li>Travel as required to fulfill the duties listed above or as required by the Company</li><li>Standard office environment</li><li>Job site environments may include standard restaurant and retail surroundings</li></ul><p><strong>Work Hours</strong></p><ul><li>Usually work 40+ hours per week.</li><li>May work days, evenings, or weekends.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent communication skills, including written, interpersonal and listening</li><li>Capable of analyzing issues and developing solutions</li><li>Ability to be creative and innovative</li><li>Excellent judgment and decision-making ability</li><li>Organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to retain product and process knowledge</li><li>Ability to lead by example</li><li>Confidence and professionalism in representing the Company</li><li>Willingness to be a team player</li><li>Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability</li><li>Experience in the specialty food industry with a proven track record of prospecting and attaining new business</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>Euro USA, Inc. offers the following benefits which are available the first of the month following 60 days of employment:</p><ul><li>Medical</li><li>Dental</li><li>Vision</li><li>Basic Life/AD&amp;D Insurance</li><li>Voluntary Life Insurance</li><li>Supplemental Accident, Cancer, Short-term Disability, and Critical Illness Insurance</li><li>401k Retirement Plan with Company Match</li><li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</li><li>Health Savings Account (HSA)</li></ul><p><em><strong>Euro USA, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.</strong></em> <em><strong>We do not discriminate based upon race, religion, color, national origin, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.</strong></em></p><p><br/></p><p>PM22</p>
