You will work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions that support business needs. You will contribute to both application and database development, helping ensure performance, quality, and continuous improvement. This is a great opportunity for someone who likes solving problems, learning new technologies, and collaborating in a supportive environment. You will report to the Senior Director, Development.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, build, test, and maintain Java-based applications that support business operations.</li><li>Create and optimize database objects such as tables, views, and stored procedures.</li><li>Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.</li><li>Work closely with team members and stakeholders to understand and refine requirements.</li><li>Contribute to code reviews, system improvements, and application performance optimization.</li></ul></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-qualifications"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Qualifications</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg spl-wysiwyg" itemprop="qualifications"><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</li><li>5+ years of experience developing applications using Java (Java 8 or higher preferred).</li><li>Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including query writing and optimization.</li><li>Familiarity with frameworks and tools such as Hibernate, JPA, or similar technologies.</li><li>Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven).</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.</li></ul></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-additionalInformation"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Additional Information</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg spl-wysiwyg" itemprop="incentives"><p>Our uniqueness is that we celebrate yours.
