Backed by the stability of a publicly traded parent company while operating with the speed and autonomy of a startup, we're looking for an experienced <strong>Head of Data Analytics</strong> to lead our analytics function and help shape the future of our product.</p> <p>This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with executives, driving business strategy through data, and remaining hands-on with analytics.</p> <h2>Location</h2> <ul><li>Remote (United States)</li></ul> <h2>Compensation</h2> <ul><li><strong>$200,000 – $250,000</strong> base salary + competitive benefits</li><li>Visa sponsorship is not preferred due to hiring timeline</li></ul> <h2>What You'll Do</h2> <ul><li>Own the end-to-end product analytics strategy for a large-scale consumer mobile application.</li><li>Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to drive key business decisions.</li><li>Analyze user behavior across the customer lifecycle, including onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization.</li><li>Develop dashboards, reporting frameworks, and actionable insights that influence product roadmap and business strategy.</li><li>Lead experimentation efforts, A/B testing, cohort analysis, and conversion funnel optimization.</li><li>Define and monitor key subscription metrics including trial conversion, trial-to-paid conversion, renewal rates, LTV, retention, and user segmentation.</li><li>Work with mobile user acquisition teams to evaluate attribution performance across AppsFlyer, Adjust, SKAdNetwork (SKAN), and other measurement platforms.</li><li>Leverage AI/LLM tools to improve analytics workflows and business insights.</li><li>Lead and mentor a small team while remaining hands-on with SQL and data analysis.</li></ul> <h2>Required Qualifications</h2> <ul><li>6+ years of experience in Product/Data Analytics for consumer software products.</li><li>2+ years of experience working on B2C mobile applications.</li><li>2–5 years of direct people management experience in a player-coach capacity.</li><li>Proven experience owning product analytics, including:<ul><li>Conversion funnels</li><li>Feature adoption</li><li>User segmentation</li><li>Retention analysis</li><li>Cohort analysis</li><li>Experimentation / A-B testing</li></ul></li><li>Deep understanding of subscription business metrics:<ul><li>Trial conversion</li><li>Trial-to-paid conversion</li><li>Lifetime Value (LTV)</li><li>Renewal and retention metrics</li></ul></li><li>Strong proficiency with SQL and experience using modern analytics tools such as BigQuery, dbt, Mixpanel, Amplitude, and Python.</li><li>Experience with mobile attribution platforms such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or similar MMPs, including SKAN.</li><li>Practical experience using AI/LLM tools to improve analytics or business processes.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations for executive stakeholders.</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.</li></ul> <h2>Ideal Candidate</h2> <ul><li>Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and executive presence.</li><li>Comfortable influencing senior leadership through data storytelling.</li><li>Hands-on analytical leader who enjoys both individual contribution and people management.</li><li>Consulting or strategy background is a plus.</li><li>Passionate about consumer products and creating data-driven customer experiences.</li></ul> <h2>Preferred Background</h2> <p>Candidates with experience from consumer mobile apps, digital subscriptions, health & wellness apps, fitness apps, fintech consumer products, streaming platforms, or other high-growth B2C software companies are highly encouraged to apply.</p>
