About the job Goods & Services is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer In Java who will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable serverless architectures, primarily using Java and TypeScript within an AWS ecosystem. This engineer will also play a key role in building responsive, modern user interfaces using Vue and React. What you’ll do: Design, develop, and deploy production-grade serverless functions using AWS Lambda. Architect and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using Java and TypeScript. Build and maintain high-performance web applications, leveraging both Vue and React depending on project requirements. Manage and optimize AWS cloud resources to ensure high availability and security. Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications. Drive best practices in unit testing, CI/CD, and documentation to ensure a reliable and maintainable codebase. What you’ll need: Extensive experience in backend development, specifically with modern Java frameworks and design patterns. Deep expertise in the AWS suite, with a specific focus on AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and S3. Proficiency in TypeScript for serverless application development and backend logic. Strong professional experience in Vue.js or React, with the ability to work interchangeably across both to build dynamic SPAs (Single Page Applications). Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Experience with Serverless Framework or AWS SAM. Solid understanding of RESTful API design and/or GraphQL. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB). Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred: Certified as AWS Developer or AWS Solutions Architect. Experience with IaC (Terraform or AWS CDK) Knowledge of state management libraries (Vuex, Redux, Pinia).
