<p>Description</p><p> </p><p>The Project Manager leads the team that produces recurring statistical reports using near real-time data from multiple federal sources. This leader owns the schedule, quality, and accountability for every daily, weekly, and monthly product and keeps the team responsive to shifting operational needs.</p><p><strong>Location: Primarily Remote.</strong></p><p>Requirements</p><p> <strong>Reporting Delivery</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate and ensure on-time delivery, seven days a week, of distinct daily, weekly, and monthly reports on immigration and border activity.</li><li>Maintain a year-round production calendar and staffing plan, including weekend and holiday coverage, so no scheduled report is missed.</li><li>Ensure each report is accurate, relevant, and responsive to operational needs, giving leadership daily data to support tracking and decision-making.</li><li>Oversee distribution of reports to government leadership, Congress, the White House, and interagency partners per government requirements.</li><li>Manage intake and integration of near real-time data feeds from numerous government sources; track data delivery issues and coordinate fixes with source agencies.</li><li>Establish quality control checks and review steps for every report before release; track and resolve any errors or corrections.</li><li>Respond quickly to ad hoc and urgent data requests from government leadership without disrupting the recurring schedule.</li></ul><p><strong>Methodology Alignment & Documentation</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate with data processing and governance teams to document reporting methodologies clearly and completely.</li><li>Align methods used for real-time, unverified data with those used for core reporting based on official production data, to the extent practicable.</li><li>Track and communicate known differences between real-time reporting and official monthly statistics so recipients understand them.</li><li>Maintain version-controlled methodology documentation, data definitions, and change logs for all reporting products.</li></ul><p><strong>Project Administration</strong></p><ul><li>Meet at least weekly with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and/or other stakeholders to review project status, reporting performance, and data issues.</li><li>Proactively manage project resources; lead the team in defining and maintaining high performance standards.</li><li>Lead the alignment of the strategy and approach for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing the project with key stakeholders.</li><li>Coordinate and manage a team of developers and data analysts, statisticians, and business and/or technical Subject Matter Experts.</li><li>Provide guidance to all team members on project scope, objectives, schedule, quality, and expectations.</li><li>Track status for all project deliverables, including every recurring report, ensuring ownership and accountability for each.</li><li>Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.</li><li>Develop complete and accurate weekly and monthly status reports, including team activities, report delivery performance, and progress toward project milestones, as well as risks, issues, and decisions.</li><li>Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, such as on-time delivery rate, error and correction rates, and data feed timeliness.</li><li>Appropriately and quickly escalate significant issues, dependencies, and risks, including late or anomalous source data.</li><li>Independently manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities to meet multiple deadlines.</li><li>Ensure transparency between the project team(s), Infotrend management, and Agency leadership.</li><li>Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders from various offices and partner agencies to ensure compliance with quality, privacy, and security standards, including handling of sensitive and pre-release data.</li><li>Quickly adapt to various tools of the trade, such as Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Office365, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.</li><li>At least 6 years of professional experience including project management, business / systems / data analysis, process improvement, and/or strategic planning.</li><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI).</li><li>Experience managing recurring, deadline-driven data or reporting operations, ideally with daily or same-day turnaround.</li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.</li><li>Highly developed understanding of client drivers and behaviors.</li><li>Ability to anticipate roadblocks and develop appropriate risk mitigation plans.</li><li>Understanding of, and ability to execute upon project management core competencies.</li><li>Outstanding organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment, including management of high-volume, competing priorities.</li><li>Demonstrates excellent leadership skills, with a strong team-focus and ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization.</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.</li><li>U.S. Citizenship.</li></ul>
