Without this role, event logistics, vendor relationships, and cross-functional coordination across Sales, Corp Comms, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Creative go unmanaged at a critical point in our B2B growth. This contract role exists to ensure every Instacart presence at a major industry event is executed with precision, on budget, and with measurable impact. By the end of the engagement, Instacart's reputation as a sophisticated event marketer in the eCommerce, AdTech, and CPG space will be meaningfully advanced.</p> <p> </p> <h2>What you'll cook up in your first year</h2> <ul> <li>Instacart's B2B event calendar is executed flawlessly across premier tradeshows (Cannes Lions, Expo West, Shoptalk Europe), executive programs, and bespoke hospitality experiences, with every event delivered on time and within budget.</li> <li>Event creative assets are produced in close partnership with marketing, creative, and sales teams, ensuring consistent brand representation across all touchpoints.</li> <li>Project plans, timelines, and budgets are built and maintained per event, giving stakeholders across Sales, Corp Comms, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Creative clear visibility and alignment throughout.</li> <li>A reporting and measurement framework is in place that captures event performance and informs future investment decisions.</li> <li>Vendor and contract relationships are managed efficiently, with invoicing and negotiations handled smoothly to keep event operations running without friction.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>The secret ingredients we're looking for</h2> <p><strong>Must-have pantry staples (Minimum Qualifications)</strong></p> <ul> <li><em>5 to 10 years of B2B event marketing experience</em></li> <li><em>Hands-on Cannes Lions experience required</em></li> <li><em>Proven track record managing high-profile tradeshows and industry events</em></li> <li><em>Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment</em></li> <li><em>Strong written and verbal communication skills</em></li> <li><em>Experience with contract negotiation and vendor invoicing</em></li> <li><em>Comfortable with administrative duties and operational support</em></li> <li><em>Ability to travel 2 to 4 times during the contract period</em></li> </ul> <p><strong>Optional garnishes (Preferred Qualifications)</strong></p> <ul> <li><em>Experience with Cvent, Salesforce, Google Sheets, or Excel</em></li> <li><em>Experience with events in the eCommerce, AdTech, and/or CPG marketing industries</em></li> <li><em>Experience managing large-scale events (100 to 600+ attendees)</em><br><br></li> </ul> <p>#LI-Remote</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work.
