This role focuses on providing technical support, resolving moderately complex issues, and maintaining the stability and performance of radiology IT environments. The ideal candidate brings solid technical expertise and strong collaboration skills to support hospitals, imaging centers, and clinics while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver escalated technical support across PACS, RIS, VNA, and related imaging systems, resolving complex Level II issues involving DICOM, HL7, and IHE standards with a focus on timely, customer-centered communication.</li><li>Drive system reliability and performance by supporting upgrades, patches, and configurations in coordination with engineering and IT teams, and contributing to disaster recovery planning, backup testing, and proactive system health monitoring.</li><li>Ensure regulatory and documentation compliance by maintaining accurate records of support cases, changes, and solutions in alignment with HIPAA, FDA medical device regulations, and ISO 13485 standards, and by developing and updating technical documentation and user guides.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with radiologists, technologists, and IT professionals to identify system issues, optimize clinical workflows, and resolve complex or cross-functional support challenges using internal knowledge bases and shared expertise.</li><li>Provide continuous coverage and on-call support as part of the team's rotation, including after-hours, weekend, and holiday availability, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery and operational resilience for clients.</li></ul></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-qualifications"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Qualifications</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg spl-wysiwyg" itemprop="qualifications"><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.</li><li>3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Healthcare IT systems, preferably in radiology environments.</li><li>Solid experience with PACS, RIS, and VNA platforms.</li><li>Working knowledge of interoperability protocols (DICOM, HL7, IHE).</li><li>Familiarity with imaging workflows and the clinical use of radiology IT solutions.</li><li>Proficiency with Windows Server environments (2012+), networking principles, and database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).  </li><li>Hands-on experience with VMware environments, storage architecture, and Linux systems.  </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clinical and technical stakeholders.</li><li>Experience using ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred).</li><li>Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and HIPAA compliance.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications & Special Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, etc.).</li><li>Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification. </li><li>Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).</li><li>Knowledge of cloud-hosted imaging solutions or telemedicine platforms.</li><li>Multilingual abilities (French is a strong asset).</li></ul><p>​​​<em>This job description is not a comprehensive list of tasks or requirements and Intelerad reserves the right to change it at any time.</em></p></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-additionalInformation"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Additional Information</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg spl-wysiwyg" itemprop="incentives"><p>All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.</p><p>Applicants may be required to complete an online personality assessment as part of your application.</p><p>#LI-REMOTE</p><div sr-tagline></div><p>Intelerad is committed to the principles of equal employment.
