<p>We are seeking a PMO Manager to lead and scale our Project Management Office (PMO). This role serves as both a senior Project Manager and people leader, responsible for managing a team of Project Managers while establishing standards, governance, and best practices across all project delivery efforts.</p> <p>The PMO Manager ensures consistent, high-quality execution of Enterprise Health implementations from pre-sale through go-live, while driving accountability, visibility, and continuous improvement across the project portfolio.</p> <p><strong>Company Overview</strong><strong><br></strong>We provide solutions that make a meaningful difference in healthcare. MIE’s web-based health information technology platform is helping physicians, nurses, and administrators make a meaningful difference in healthcare delivery across the globe.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <h4><strong>PMO Leadership &amp; Team Management</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers</li> <li>Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development support</li> <li>Support onboarding and training of new Project Managers<br>Serve as an escalation point for complex or at-risk projects</li> <li>Balance resource allocation across projects to ensure workload sustainability</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Project Portfolio Oversight</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Maintain visibility into all active projects, timelines, risks, and dependencies</li> <li>Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope<br>Review project plans, forecasts, and deliverables for quality and alignment</li> <li>Partner with leadership to prioritize projects and manage capacity planning</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Standards, Governance &amp; Process</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Define, implement, and enforce project management standards and best practices</li> <li>Ensure consistent use of tools, templates, and documentation</li> <li>Oversee governance processes including change control, risk management, and approvals</li> <li>Ensure project artifacts are properly maintained (Smartsheet, Google Drive, Redmine, etc.)</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Stakeholder &amp; Executive Communication</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Provide regular portfolio-level reporting to leadership</li> <li>Translate project data into clear insights, risks, and recommendations</li> <li>Align with Sales, Product, Development, Integration, and Leadership teams</li> <li>Support pre-sales efforts with scoping, timelines, and resource estimates</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Financial &amp; Resource Management</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Oversee project budgets, hours, and utilization across the PMO</li> <li>Monitor KPIs and delivery metrics at both project and portfolio levels</li> <li>Identify risks related to scope, cost, or staffing early and proactively</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Quality &amp; Delivery Assurance</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations</li> <li>Support go-live readiness and successful handoff to support teams</li> <li>Lead post-project reviews and lessons learned initiatives</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and scalability</li> <li>Refine PMO processes as the organization grows</li> <li>Champion a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Education</strong>: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.</li> <li><strong>Experience</strong>: <ul> <li> <ul> <li>5–8+ years of software/SaaS project management experience</li> <li>2+ years of people leadership or team management experience</li> <li>Managing multiple concurrent, cross-functional projects</li> <li>Pre-sales scoping, budgeting, and timeline planning</li> <li>Experience working with executive-level stakeholders</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Skills:</strong> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>PMO leadership and portfolio management</li> <li>People management and coaching</li> <li>Advanced project planning, risk, and change management</li> <li>Strong executive and client communication</li> <li>Cross-functional leadership and escalation management</li> <li>Financial oversight and KPI tracking</li> <li>Proficiency with PM tools (Smartsheet, Google Suite, etc.)</li> <li>Strong organizational and decision-making skills</li> <li>Ability to travel up to 20%</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>PMP or similar certification</li> <li>Experience in healthcare or medical software environments</li> <li>Experience scaling or formalizing a PMO function</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></h4> <p>At MIE and Enterprise Health, we offer more than just a job.
