That is where you come in! </p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong> </p><ul><li>8+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Atlassian platforms (Jira, JSM, Confluence), primarily in Atlassian Data Center environments.</li><li>Deep technical expertise in Atlassian architecture, clustering, performance tuning, and high availability setups.</li><li>Strong experience with underlying databases, infrastructure, and system integrations.</li><li>Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Groovy, Python, REST APIs) for platform optimization and operational efficiency.</li><li>Solid understanding of monitoring, alerting, and incident management practices.</li><li>Experience managing platform upgrades, integrations, and licensing at enterprise scale.</li><li>Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.</li><li>Atlassian certifications (ACP, Data Center certifications) are preferred.</li><li>Experience with Atlassian Cloud migration and SaaS optimization is a plus.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong> </p><p> </p><ul><li>Serve as the primary owner and administrator of Atlassian platforms including Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence across global teams.</li><li>Ensure high availability, reliability, performance, and scalability of Atlassian Data Center environments.</li><li>Lead advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution for complex platform issues.</li><li>Implement proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning to prevent system outages.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement through automation, scripting, and process optimization.</li><li>Govern platform upgrades, integrations, configurations, and license management.</li><li>Define and enforce platform standards, security controls, and best practices across the organization.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business needs.</li><li>Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior administrators and support teams.</li><li>Support and contribute to Atlassian cloud migration initiatives and SaaS optimization strategies.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.</p>
