Join an organization </span><span>that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><ul><li>Build and implement territory sales plans for customer growth and new business development.</li><li>Prepare and deliver product / solutions training and information to contractors, specifiers and channel partners.</li><li>This role requires a strong customer-facing focus, with approximately 70% of time spent in the field engaging with customers within Malaysia or in other territories as needed.</li><li>Maintain a list of key projects within Salesforce.</li><li>Achieve sales goals for targeted product lines.</li><li>Closing strategic opportunities and managing key end user and channel relationships.</li><li>You will be the liaison between customers and support functions, collaborating on product strategies.</li><li>You will build and monitor your territory Opportunity Funnel (in Salesforce) by identifying and reporting new opportunities, by converting Marketing Qualified Leads and Channel partner Leads.</li><li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical, telecommunications, mechanical or fire /plumbing industry field sales and account management<span>, with preference of knowledge in dealing with major contractors.</span></li><li>Sound product and technical knowledge (ideally in electrical or trade-related fields).</li><li>Qualification in Electrical or other related building service trade would be an advantage</li><li>Excellent communication and influencing skills.</li><li>Proven experience working with end-users to develop time-saving solutions, combined with a strong background in electrical and/or mechanical distribution channels.</li><li>Self-motivated and goal oriented, with the ability to manage own time and workload to be successful.</li><li>Computer literate with knowledge of CRM systems and MS Office.</li><li>Confident value-based approach to solution selling</li><li>Establish new, and maintain existing distribution relations, Contractor and end user relationship.</li><li>nVent Electrical Connections and System Protection Product Knowledge (TBA)</li></ul><p></p><p><b>WE HAVE:</b></p><ul><li><p>A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day</p><ul><li><p>nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
