Facilitate the booking of new loans, ensuring customers understand our company's requirements and their responsibilities. Manage the entire underwriting process through closing. </p> <p><strong>What You Will Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Underwrites the entire spectrum of lending products, regardless of size or complexity, in a timely and efficient manner.</li> <li>Understands and applies credit policies, corporate Program Standards, and minimum underwriting standards.</li> <li>Collaborates closely with the various Business Development Officers to provide a consultative/value added credit perspective, both prior to proposal issuance and thereafter.</li> <li>Reviews and analyzes new deal packages for content and completeness.</li> <li>Orders and reviews due diligence and documentation.</li> <li>Reviews and analyzes financial statement spreads and understand cash flows.</li> <li>Reviews and understands collateral and financial trends indicated therein. </li> <li>On occasion, be willing to visit prospect locations and meet management of the business prior to closing for transactions over a predetermined amount.</li> <li>Gains a thorough understanding of the prospect's business and what is impacting the company’s growth, or declining, performance.</li> <li>Reviews reporting requirements and processing with clients.</li> <li>Analyzes debtor information in conjunction with Debtor Credit Manager.</li> <li>Prepares the credit narrative/CAR (Credit Approval Report) for appropriate approval and/or credit committees.</li> <li>Reviews the closing documentation and effectively negotiate with the prospect client, internal/external legal counsel, and/or other transaction stakeholders</li> <li>Mentors and trains analysts, and less experienced business development representatives.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Will Need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience. </li> <li>5+ years relevant experience. </li> <li>Business Acumen</li> <li>Customer Focus </li> <li>Collaborates</li> <li>Communication Skills</li> <li>Negotiating</li> <li>Must have the ability to self-train and quickly adapt to various IT systems and procedures, which are utilized by the business on a daily basis. </li> </ul> <p style="text-align: center;"><em>The responsibilities listed above are not all inclusive and may be changed at any time.</em></p> <p>Salary range: $104,000– $174,000</p> <p> <br>The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Ranges may be modified in the future.<br>This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based incentive opportunity.
