You write clean, well-documented code, take ownership of what you ship, and care about the end experience as much as the technical implementation. You are equally comfortable in a Figma file and a pull request, and you know how to translate a product requirement into a scalable solution without being told exactly how. You thrive in an Agile environment, communicate clearly with non-technical teammates, and you are always looking for a better, faster way to build — including leaning into AI coding tools as a genuine part of your workflow, not just a novelty.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain web applications and features for the Brivity platform using React, TypeScript, Ruby, and .NET — working across the full stack from frontend to backend.</li> <li>Partner with product and engineering leadership to scope, prioritize, and deliver features that real estate teams rely on every day.</li> <li>Translate product requirements and Figma designs into high-quality, polished product experiences.</li> <li>Use AI-assisted development tools including Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation while maintaining high standards for code quality.</li> <li>Write clean, scalable, well-documented code following engineering best practices across the codebase.</li> <li>Develop and maintain automated tests including unit, integration, and end-to-end coverage.</li> <li>Debug issues, fix bugs, and continuously improve performance and reliability across the stack.</li> <li>Identify and reduce technical debt, leaving the codebase better than you found it.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews and actively contribute to raising engineering standards across the team.</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with design, QA, backend engineering, and product teams to ship great work together.</li> <li>Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>Contribute to Agile processes including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.</li> <li>Maintain and improve technical documentation so the team moves faster over time.</li> <li>Stay current with platform updates, tools, and best practices including emerging AI development tools.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>3 to 5 years of professional experience in frontend and/or full-stack web development.</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Ruby and/or .NET, or a demonstrated ability to pick up new languages quickly.</li> <li>Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.</li> <li>Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor in a professional development workflow.</li> <li>Experience writing automated tests including unit, integration, or end-to-end coverage.</li> <li>Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with product, design, and QA teams.</li> <li>Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary Range: </strong>$110,000 - $140,000/year depending on experience</p> <p><strong>Why PLACE</strong></p> <p>We believe people do their best work when they're trusted, supported, and surrounded by others who are equally driven.
