The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales and architecture leadership, business acumen, and developing teams.</p> <p>The Presidio Manager, Solutions Architect (MSA), is a customer-facing pre-sales player/coach position within the Modern Platforms services business. Our Modern Platforms business is growing rapidly and includes the Migration, Cloud, Data Center, Virtualization, Intelligent Ops, DevOps Platform, and Data Protection services practices within Presidio. The ideal candidate will bring valuable industry experience in pre-sales, delivery, or leadership in the Cloud and Migration domains.</p> <p>The MSA will divide their time between leading and managing a team of migration solution architects and directly taking ownership of key customer opportunities. As needed, the MSA will support the Director of Solution Architecture for Modern Platforms in continuously improving intellectual property, process, and quality. As a part of successful pre-sales responsibilities, the MSA will also work with service delivery management to oversee delivery success. This leadership role also recruits, develops, and retains top Solution Architect talent within their team. This is a critical role as Presidio continues to grow a solid solution-oriented sales and professional services business. </p> <p><strong>Travel Requirements:</strong></p> <p>This role is remote, and you will be expected to travel 25% - 50%</p> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Manage</strong> a team of highly skilled, geographically dispersed technical Solutions Architects focused on Migration and Modernization services.</li> <li><strong>Enable Culture and Advocacy</strong>. Recognize the accomplishments and demonstrate the impact of presales team members. Work across internal business units and leadership to identify and be able to provide the presales team with the resources needed to succeed. Share methods, content, and lessons learned with others. Drive an open, positive, inclusive, resilient, change-orientated team culture. Participate in key opportunities to improve outcomes, gain feedback and insights, and create meaningful mentorship opportunities.</li> <li><strong>Presales Innovation.</strong> Lead presales innovation for relevant focus areas. Map the current state, seek stakeholder feedback, and create collaborative plans to drive innovation in presales measures, processes, tools, and reporting.</li> <li><strong>Drive Talent Agenda</strong>: Responsible for recruiting and attracting talent aligned to the needs of the business. Create individual development plans to advance the team's skills and provide career growth.</li> <li><strong>Operational Excellence</strong>: Align resources with the right opportunities and drive a presales process to gain technical wins. Ensure teams position the appropriate services and document detailed customer requirements and expectations.</li> <li><strong>Client Relationships: </strong>Build and maintain long-term loyal client relationships and establish and attack/convert competitively held accounts. Be in front of clients as much as possible, both virtually and in-person, to present Presidio solutions and to gain knowledge about the client business requirements.</li> <li><strong>Advocacy</strong>: Recognize the accomplishments and demonstrate the impact of presales team members.
