This is a full-time, permanent position starting immediately.You should have +6 years of experience creating modern, accessible web applications. You are passionate about crafting intuitive user experiences that work for everyone. You stay current with front-end trends and have a keen eye for design implementation. </p> <p> </p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Build responsive, accessible user interfaces for an enterprise platform. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Implement pixel-perfect designs from Figma mockups using React and TypeScript. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Develop reusable component libraries that prioritize accessibility and maintainability. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborate with UX designers to refine user flows and interaction patterns. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance across all front-end components. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and real-time data services. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Optimize application performance, including lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end architecture decisions. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>+6 years of professional experience in front-end development. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Expert knowledge of React, including hooks, context, and state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar). </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+). </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with CSS-in-JS solutions (Styled Components, Emotion) or Tailwind CSS. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and assistive technologies. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress). </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with Git version control and pull request workflows. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Understanding of RESTful API consumption and async data handling. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Required Soft Skills</strong> </p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Excellent collaboration skills for working with designers and backend developers. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong communication skills for articulating technical concepts. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Passion for creating inclusive, accessible user experiences. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Adaptable and eager to learn new tools and technologies. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Nice to Have</strong> </p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Experience with Next.js or other React meta-frameworks. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Knowledge of animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP). </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with component documentation tools (Storybook). </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Familiarity with headless CMS platforms. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with progressive web app (PWA) development. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Understanding of SEO best practices. </li> </ul> <h2>Additional Information</h2> <ul> <li>Fully remote position; candidates must already be based in Canada and have legal work authorization in the country.</li> <li>Competitive annual vacation program, enhanced between Christmas and New Year’s when our offices are closed.</li> <li>Extended statutory holidays (we give you the Mondays and Fridays of provincial holidays so you can enjoy long 4-day weekends!).</li> <li>10 personal/sick days per year</li> <li>“Work Your World” program, allowing you to work remotely for up to 6 weeks in any country where we have an office (50+ countries).</li> <li>Comprehensive group insurance benefits (medical and dental care, vision care, psychological and paramedical services, disability insurance, fertility support, and gender-affirming care).</li> <li>Internal support and guidance program for cancer, fertility, and gender transition.</li> </ul> <p>The salary range for this position is $90,000–$125,000 per year, based on experience, skills, and relevant certifications.
