As French Florist scales across digital and physical channels, we are building a brand that feels unmistakably premium at every turn.</span></p><p></p><h2><span style="font-size: 17pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;"><strong>Role Summary</strong></span></h2><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">The Creative Director, Marketing leads campaign concepts, art direction, and day-to-day creative execution for French Florist’s Marketing team. This role turns the brand’s premium positioning into compelling campaigns, content, and sales materials, with clear ownership of the team’s work and routine creative approvals.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this hands-on leader manages the Marketing creative team, including the Production Designer, and produces work alongside them. The role partners with the VP of Brand, Experience & Innovation, who owns company-wide brand identity, standards, and experience direction. Within those standards, the Creative Director has the authority to lead and approve Marketing creative without routing every asset through the VP.</span></p><p></p><h2><span style="font-size: 17pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></h2><h3><span style="font-size: 13pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;"><strong>1. Marketing Creative Direction</strong></span></h3><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Develop campaign concepts and creative direction that support Marketing priorities and express French Florist’s premium positioning</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Apply established brand standards across Marketing photography, art direction, typography, color, and copy, and recommend improvements in partnership with Brand, Experience & Innovation</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Own routine Marketing creative approvals within established standards; align with the VP of Brand, Experience & Innovation on exceptions or changes to foundational brand direction</span></p><h3><span style="font-size: 13pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;"><strong>2. Cross-Channel Creative Execution</strong></span></h3><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Lead creative for paid and organic campaigns, social, email, e-commerce content, product photography, sales collateral, and franchise and grand-opening materials</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Keep Marketing assets consistent across channels; contribute to packaging and retail projects when agreed with Brand, Experience & Innovation, which leads their overarching brand and experience direction</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Direct Marketing photo and video shoots and manage the creative work of external agencies, photographers, and vendors</span></p><h3><span style="font-size: 13pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;"><strong>3. Team Leadership & Collaboration</strong></span></h3><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Manage, mentor, and develop the Marketing creative team, including the Production Designer</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Partner with Brand, Experience & Innovation, Product, Technology, and Operations to translate agreed business priorities and brand direction into effective Marketing creative</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Support franchise stakeholders with brand-compliant creative assets and guidance for local activations and grand openings</span></p><h3><span style="font-size: 13pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;"><strong>4. Process & Quality</strong></span></h3><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Lead creative assignments and approvals through the existing project-management process, with project management coordinating intake, schedules, dependencies, and delivery tracking</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Review Marketing creative for quality and brand consistency, resolve routine decisions independently, and flag scope or capacity conflicts early</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Manage approved creative budgets and vendors. Agree a staged handoff with the CMO and VP of Brand, Experience & Innovation covering active campaigns, team leadership, routine approvals, production work, and vendor relationships</span></p><h2><span style="font-size: 17pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></h2><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• 8+ years of experience in creative/brand direction, including at least 2–3 years in a Creative Director, Marketing or similar leadership role</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Proven experience building and expressing premium, consumer-facing brands—ideally in retail, DTC / e-commerce, hospitality, beauty, or lifestyle categories</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Experience directing creative across both digital and physical / retail environments</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Experience managing photo/video shoots and external creative partners (photographers, agencies, freelancers)</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Experience building or scaling creative for a multi-location or franchise business is a plus</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Portfolio demonstrating strong art direction and brand craft across multiple mediums</span></p><h2><span style="font-size: 17pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;"><strong>Skills & Capabilities</strong></span></h2><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Exceptional taste and a sharp eye for premium visual craft</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution ability</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Ability to translate brand strategy into compelling, consistent creative across channels</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Strong leadership, mentorship, and team-building skills</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Excellent collaborator across marketing, product, and operations</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Comfortable balancing creative ambition with the practical needs of a fast-growing, multi-location business</span></p><h2><span style="font-size: 17pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;"><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></span></h2><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Primarily an office / studio-based role requiring extended periods of computer work</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Occasional travel to boutique locations, photo / video shoots, or franchise events</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">• Ability to attend and direct on-site photo / video shoots as needed</span></p><h2><span style="font-size: 17pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;"><strong>What Makes This Role Exciting</strong></span></h2><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Crimson Text", serif;">This is an opportunity to lead the Marketing creative team for a growing premium brand built on beauty, craft, and care.
