<p>Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers.  The company’s R&amp;D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding Revolutionaries in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.</p> <p><strong>The Opportunity:</strong></p> <p>The Associate Director, Independent Medical Education (IME) &amp; Grants will play a pivotal role in the oversight and execution of Revolution Medicines' IME programs and grants processes across all assets and therapeutic areas. This role will assist in ensuring scientific rigor, compliance, and alignment with company and external regulatory guidelines. The individual will report to the Director, IME &amp; Grants, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive excellence in medical education.</p> <p>Key responsibilities include:</p> <p><u>Independent Medical Education (IME) &amp; Continuing Medical Education (CME) Strategy &amp; Execution</u></p> <ul> <li> <p><span>Facilitate ongoing implementation of a comprehensive IME/CME strategy aligned with Revolution Medicines' scientific and educational priorities.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Review IME grant proposals for scientific accuracy, instructional design, and alignment with adult learning principles and therapeutic area needs.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Maintain compliant partnerships with medical education providers, professional societies, and academic institutions to support high-quality educational programs.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Monitor educational gaps, learning objectives, and emerging scientific trends to ensure content relevance and impact.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Audit and evaluate the effectiveness of IME/CME programs, aggregating outcomes and reporting insights and impact to internal stakeholders.</span></p> </li> </ul> <p><span><u>Grants Management &amp; Oversight</u></span></p> <ul> <li> <p><span>Adhere to the governance structure for reviewing, funding, and tracking grants, ensuring transparency and compliance with applicable guidelines (e.g., ACCME, PhRMA Code, FDA, and OIG).</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Develop familiarity and fluency with operational needs of the function, including the grants management portal and the contracting and payments process.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Work cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure appropriate documentation, reporting, and audit readiness for medical grants.</span></p> </li> </ul> <p><span><u>Cross-Functional &amp; External Stakeholder Collaboration</u></span></p> <ul> <li> <p><span>Ensure timely and transparent communication with grant recipients regarding receipt and review of submitted requests, maintaining strong external partnerships.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Collaborate closely with Director, IME &amp; Grants, to communicate educational funding decisions, newly launched programs, and interim and final outcomes to appropriate internal stakeholders.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Foster relationships with external medical and scientific communities, including medical societies, KOLs, academic researchers, and educational providers.</span></p> </li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Required Skills, Experience and Education:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li> <p><span>Advanced scientific or medical degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) preferred; MS or equivalent experience in biomedical sciences or related field considered.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>7 to 9 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Independent Medical Education, and/or Grants Management, within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or related industry.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Understanding of IME/CME regulations, industry guidelines, and best practices (ACCME, PhRMA Code, FDA, OIG, AdvaMed, Sunshine Act).</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Proven ability to work independently and develop medical education strategies aligned with scientific priorities and unmet educational needs.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Strong expertise in grants governance, funding oversight, and compliance frameworks.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Ability to navigate cross-functional partnerships with Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, and Clinical teams.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with competence to assess educational proposals for scientific merit and alignment.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Willingness to travel within the US and globally, as needed.</span></p> </li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li> <p><span>Prior launch experience in oncology, precision medicine, or targeted therapies.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Demonstrable patient-centric approach to work in previous roles.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for grant submissions and tracking.</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span>Ability to optimize IME &amp; grants processes for scalability and operational efficiency. </span></p> <p><span>#LI-Remote #LI-YG1<span> </span></span></p> </li> </ul><p>The base pay salary range for this full-time position for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA is listed below. Our base pay salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
