<p>Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers.  The company’s R&amp;D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding Revolutionaries in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.</p> <p><strong>The Opportunity:</strong></p> <p>As part of our expanding European organization, we seek a visionary and hands-on Executive Director, Commercial Excellence, Data and Digital Europe, who will play a critical role in architecting the commercial infrastructure for our data-driven European launch ensuring operational excellence and strategic execution across the region. This individual will report to the Vice President Commercial and Market Development Europe and will be the bridge between Strategy, Data, Technology, and Execution. They will be responsible for defining our forecast and measuring success, the way we engage key stakeholders across all channels (Digital &amp; Field), and the way we generate and utilize data to drive decision-making. As the European footprint expands, the incumbent will build and lead a lean team supporting Forecasting, Market Research and Analytics, Commercial Operations, and Digital/Omnichannel. This role will work in tight partnership with the Executive Director, Marketing, Europe to ensure that brand strategy, customer engagement, data insights and omnichannel execution are seamlessly integrated across the region.</p> <p><strong>Commercial Excellence:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Partner with the VP, Commercial Europe to orchestrate the launch roadmap, ensuring all operational capabilities are aligned with the broader launch goals, embedding a standard of excellence</p> </li> <li> <p>Lead the cadence and operation of regional launch governance with cross functional teams</p> </li> <li> <p>Design and maintain robust performance metrics and dashboards that provide transparency and enable data driven decisions, prepare presentations to support leadership team meetings and discussions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Monitor and follow up on strategic commercial excellence priorities ensuring alignment across the region</p> </li> <li> <p>Optimize strategic planning cycles in collaboration with Finance and cross functional teams</p> </li> <li> <p>Identify training gaps and provide the curriculum, tools and materials for training of commercial teams across the region, beyond traditional onboarding training, such as competitive selling, scientific fluency, HCP engagement, objection handling, omnichannel marketing excellence, in collaboration with marketing, medical, and HR</p> </li> <li> <p>Design and build the CRM system for field operations across the region, in collaboration with the regional and global IT team</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Data</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead the European forecasting process with diligence, accuracy and strategic insights</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify intelligence needs and generate insights.</p> </li> <li> <p>Orchestrate market research to uncover deep insights into the Oncology landscape, patient journeys, and competitor activities, in collaboration with Global Insights and Analytics and Competitive Intelligence</p> </li> <li> <p>Initiate and facilitate activities, data purchases and dashboards that enhance organizational knowledge regarding the relevant market and potential product attributes, usage, market dynamics, and competition</p> </li> <li> <p>Incorporate data from field observations, leadership and performance metrics to generate insights and make recommendations accordingly</p> </li> <li> <p>Reinforce market research best practices, identify market research and data sources, vendor options, and methodologies that are best suited to address a business need. Manage third parties associated with this function</p> </li> <li> <p>Oversee the establishment of robust data governance frameworks, policies and quality standards to ensure data integrity and compliance based on GDPR and other regulations</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Digital:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Define and implement a comprehensive data and digital strategy and tools aligned with overall regional goals to optimize launch</p> </li> <li> <p>Leverage digital platforms, AI-enabled tools and CRM systems to manage field operations effectively</p> </li> <li> <p>Foster a culture of digital fluency across commercial teams, optimally implementing content generated by marketing teams</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills, Experience and Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Advanced degree in a relevant field such as biotechnology, life sciences, or business administration</p> </li> <li> <p>Minimum of 15 years of experience within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry in market development, marketing, commercial excellence, product planning, or commercial strategy, with a focus on oncology or related indications (e.g. hemato-oncology)</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience successfully launching and commercializing products in European markets, with a preference for thorough experience in major markets.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to quickly understand complex markets, disease states, competitive landscapes, and relevant market dynamics.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to synthesize and communicate the similarities, differences, and considerations necessary to inform key internal stakeholders.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, significant project management capabilities.</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and work effectively with cross-functional teams.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience working in fast-paced, innovative, clinical-stage biotech organizations.</p> </li> <li> <p>Willingness to travel internationally as needed.</p> </li> </ul> <p>Revolution Medicines takes protection and security of personal data very seriously and respects your right to privacy while using our website and when contacting us by email or phone.
