We’re growing fast — and Retention is becoming one of the most strategically important teams inside the agency. What We’re Looking For With a focus across Fashion, Apparel, Beauty, Health, Jewelry, and Lifestyle brands — we’re searching for a Retention Strategist who isn’t just a Klaviyo operator, but a true growth partner. Someone who can: Improve LTV, not just “run flows” Improve repeat demand and customer value Spot problems before they happen (deliverability, list decay, TTSO, revenue mix) Bring commercial clarity to every meeting Run tests with a real hypothesis and success metric And document results into “Braggable Wins” that fuel agency authority If you only want to “send campaigns,” this job is not for you. Your role is to turn lifecycle marketing into: Increased customer lifetime value Faster repeat purchases Stronger contribution margin Support for paid acquisition scale Profit stability for our clients You are not an isolated channel. You are part of the client’s growth engine. What You Will Do:Lifecycle Strategy & Execution Build, optimize, and scale email/SMS flows and campaigns Design post-purchase and LTV journeys that drive true repeat demand Manage segmentation, behavioral triggers, predictive audiences Maintain balanced flow vs campaign revenue share Maintain list health & deliverability (non-negotiable expectation) Data Analysis & Commercial Insight Analyze performance across Klaviyo, Shopify, and Hiro Analytics Identify opportunities linked to LTV growth, repeat rate, and time-to-second-order Present account insights clearly — what happened and why it matters Provide inputs that help Growth Strategists scale profitably Testing & Learning Velocity Run meaningful, hypothesis-driven tests Every test includes: hypothesis, success metric, and decision timeline Document findings into team playbooks and best practices Client Relationship & Communication Build trust and rapport with clear, strategic communication Lead retention strategy meetings Provide forward planning and strategic clarity Support cross-channel alignment for unified growth outcomes Kaizen Mindset & Team Contribution Share insights, elevate peers, and contribute to teamwide improvement Stay ahead of platform changes and evolving lifecycle benchmarks To be considered, please provide a brief 2-min introductory video along with your cover letter and resume. 2+ years hands-on eCommerce Email/SMS experience 2+ years inside Klaviyo (flows, segmentation, deliverability, testing) Proven results increasing LTV, repeat rate, or flow revenue contribution Experience managing lists of 50k–100k+ Ability to analyze cohorts, retention curves, and order behavior Strong ability to brief copy/design clearly Superior communication — written & verbal Strong prioritization and ability to manage multiple accounts Calm, mature, coachable, accountable Team player (we elevate one another) Competitive base salary $85k–$100k (depending on experience) Work with fast-growth DTC brands across multiple verticals Access to elite training, internal playbooks, and coaching Clear progression path: Strategist → Senior → Lead Support team including email specialists, designers, copywriters & Growth Strategists Opportunity to help shape the future of the Retention Department Remote-first, global team environment Given the number of applications being received, we will only be contacting successful candidates for the first round of interviewing.
