Our team drives strategic decisions at Samsara — owning the forecasting, planning, analysis and reporting that leadership relies on to run the business. This role will work closely with our F&S team and partner across BizTech, PeopleOps, Accounting and beyond, acting as our technical bridge with systems owners, data engineers and the business.

You'll design, develop and operate secure, scalable applications, pipelines, automations and AI workflows that transform fragmented financial data from NetSuite, Workday, Adaptive and Salesforce into a modern Databricks foundation that powers production-grade, decision-ready systems. You will also own and support our existing Workday Adaptive Planning instance through the transition. If you're energized by applying data engineering and AI to transform how our Finance & Strategy team utilizes data, this is a rare opportunity to build the future state of a finance function from the data layer up. We value intensity, pace, and curiosity — moving quickly to deliver practical solutions while continuously raising the bar on what Finance can do with its data.

This role is open to candidates residing in the US.

You should apply if:

You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact – helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.

You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won’t be your last at Samsara.
