For additional information about SolAmerica, visit www.solamericaenergy.com.</p> <p>SolAmerica is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle—from planning through execution and completion—of our solar and energy storage portfolio. As a growing Independent Power Producer (IPP), we rely on this pivotal role to ensure the successful, profitable implementation of our projects.</p><p>The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of leadership, technical expertise, and rigorous project management skills. You will be responsible for directing projects managed through turnkey EPC contractors and/or Self-EPC general contractor arrangements for Distributed Generation (DG) ground-mount solar. By leading a cross-functional team to meet strict budget and timeline goals, the Project Manager will maximize both the environmental and financial returns of our portfolio.</p><p></p>PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES <ul><li>Manage project preconstruction including EPC bids and supervision of engineering design </li><li>Responsible for the overall delivery of the project within budget, schedule, and quality requirements; while maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors </li><li>Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution </li><li>Manage project resources and allocate tasks to team members </li><li>Conduct regular project meetings to identify and address any issues or risks </li><li>Manage engineering and procurement teams to ensure the timely delivery of equipment and materials </li><li>Review and take ownership of critical path project schedules for construction; along with aligning with company and financing requirements </li><li>Create detailed project budgets, managing cash flow, analyzing costs vs. benefits, and ensuring the project meets financial goals set forth by Stage Gate approval process </li><li>Produce project level reporting deliverables at required intervals as set forth by management.</li><li>Assist in the negotiation of EPC contract amounts and contract terms </li><li>Oversee the installation and commissioning of solar systems by turn-key EPC, ensuring adherence to safety, health and environmental standards </li><li>Communicate project status updates, milestones, and key deliverables to internal teams, management, and financing partners </li><li>Manage Utility interconnection processes after execution of Interconnection Agreement to align with project requirements </li><li>Coordinate with financing parties, including Independent or third-party engineering needs and deliverables </li></ul><p> </p>EXPERIENCE <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related STEM field. Advanced degree or professional certification in project management is preferred (may consider demonstratable experience in relevant industries); </li><li>Demonstrated experience achieving positive renewable energy project construction results; </li><li>Deep understanding of the solar industry; </li><li>Experience with solar electrical equipment engineering and/or electrical engineering;</li><li>Experience with solar racking design and engineering process (geotechnical studies, pile load testing, etc.); </li><li>Experience in the field is preferred; </li><li>Familiarity with utility interconnection processes and testing requirements; </li><li>Proficient with MS Project or other Critical Path Scheduling Tools; </li><li>PMP, PE, NABCEP, OSHA 10 (or 30) or other Certifications. </li></ul><p> </p>KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES <ul><li>Proven experience in project management, preferably in the solar energy industry; </li><li>Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic systems and installation practices; </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills; </li><li>Ability to read and comprehend plans, drawings, specifications, bid materials, contracts and related construction documents.
