<p>Position Description</p><p>Responsible for the day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking, reconciliations, compliance preparation, and month-end reporting. The role supports the Financial Controller by ensuring accurate records, timely processing, and the preparation of month-end schedules ready for review.</p><p></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Accounts Payable & Receivable</p><ul><li>Manage end-to-end supplier invoice processing and PO matching.</li><li>Prepare weekly payment runs and reconcile supplier statements.</li><li>Resolve supplier queries.</li><li>Process customer invoicing and receipt allocations.</li><li>Manage debtor collections, aged receivables reporting, and escalation of overdue accounts.</li></ul><p></p><p>Payroll</p><ul><li>Process payroll across multiple entities</li><li>Administer leave, superannuation, payroll reconciliations, STP preparation, and payroll reporting.</li><li>Banking & Cash Management</li><li>Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations.</li><li>Allocate cash receipts and code expenses.</li><li>Investigate and resolve reconciling items.</li></ul><p></p><p>Month-End & Financial Reporting</p><ul><li>Prepare month-end schedules and supporting workpapers, including:</li><li>Bank, credit card, AR, AP, payroll, and GST reconciliations.</li><li>Intercompany, inventory, and balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li>Fixed asset register updates.</li><li>Accruals and prepayments.</li><li>Month-end checklist completion. All schedules must be completed and submitted ready for Financial Controller review.</li></ul><p></p><p>Compliance Support</p><ul><li>Prepare documentation supporting for BAS and IAS, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, WorkCover, Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT).</li></ul><p></p><p>Finance Administration</p><ul><li>Maintain the finance inbox, registers, and accounting documentation.</li><li>Support process improvements and finance procedure documentation.</li><li>Ensure financial records remain accurate, complete, and up to date.</li></ul><p></p> <p>Essential</p><ul><li>Minimum 3-5+ years' experience in a senior accounting, finance, or bookkeeping role.</li><li>Advanced Xero and Excel skills.</li><li>Experience managing multi-entity accounting and foreign currency transactions.</li><li>Strong understanding of Australian GST and payroll legislation.</li><li>Proven reconciliation experience with high accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.</li></ul><p></p><p>Desirable</p><ul><li>Experience in manufacturing environments.</li><li>Knowledge of inventory accounting and job costing.</li><li>Multi-entity payroll experience.</li><li>Experience supporting CFOs, Finance Managers, or Financial Controllers in fast-paced businesses.</li></ul> <p>Why Join Twoconnect?</p><p>We offer more than just a job — we offer a supportive and rewarding career experience.
