<p>Overview</p><ul><li>World Business Lenders (WBL) provides short-term, real estate-backed commercial loans to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States.</li><li>This is a fully remote position for an analytical professional with strong critical-thinking, investigative, documentation, and communication skills.<br /></li></ul>About the Role<ul><li>Within IDEA — Intelligence, Data, Engineering & Analytics — this hands-on role supports business users with reporting, analysis, and data questions under the Analytics & Decision Support function.</li></ul><p></p><p>What Success Looks Like </p><ul><li>Deliver accurate reports on time, resolve routine requests independently, and communicate findings and blockers clearly.</li></ul><p></p><p>Typical Day-to-Day</p><ul><li>Clarify and prioritize business data requests.</li><li>Prepare reports, investigate discrepancies, and explain findings.</li><li>Coordinate fixes, validate changes, and document resolutions.</li></ul><p></p><p>Key Objectives for This Role (Quarterly Focus)</p><ul><li>Learn WBL’s data and lending processes, take ownership of assigned reports, and improve recurring workflows.</li></ul><p></p><p>What You'll Be Doing (Core Responsibilities)</p><ul><li>Support business teams with reporting, data analysis, and day-to-day data requests.</li><li>Prepare and maintain recurring management reports, dashboards, KPIs, and other analytical outputs.</li><li>Perform ad hoc analysis to answer business questions and support operational and management decision-making.</li><li>Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting and data needs and translate them into clear analytical requirements.</li><li>Investigate data questions, discrepancies, and reporting issues and coordinate with the appropriate data or technology teams to resolve them.</li><li>Review data and reporting outputs for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.</li><li>Support the development and documentation of enterprise KPIs, metric definitions, and reporting standards.</li><li>Help business users understand and effectively use available data, reports, and self-service analytical tools.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve, simplify, and automate recurring reporting and analytical processes.</li><li>Assist with testing and validation of new reports, datasets, metrics, and analytical products.</li><li>Support other analytical projects and initiatives as assigned.</li></ul><p></p> <ul><li>Education:</li><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, information systems, or a related field.</li></ul></ul><p></p><ul><li>Required Experience</li></ul><ul><ul><li>Python or similar analytical programming experience is required.</li><li>Experience working with SQL strongly preferred.</li><li>Experience with reporting, visualization, analytics, or business intelligence tools preferred.</li><li>AI-assisted analysis or coding experience is a plus<br /> <br /> </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Technical Skills</li><ul><li>Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business questions into data-driven analysis.<br /> <br /> </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Soft Skills</li></ul><ul><ul><li>100% fluency in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.</li><li>Proactive approach, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment.<br /> <br /> </li></ul><li>Preferred Background / Industry Experience</li></ul><ul><ul><li>Experience in lending or financial services, business-user support, and data reconciliation preferred.</li></ul></ul> <p>What We Offer</p><p>💰 Compensation in USD.</p><p>🏖️ Benefits include paid time off (PTO).</p><p>🌍 Work Environment: Fully remote work environment.</p><p></p><p>Ready to Apply?</p><p>If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you - submit your CV in English and hit Apply!</p>
