We foster fairness, equity, and inclusion to create a workplace environment where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.</em></p> <p><strong>Position Summary and Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>Working from your home office, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for daily administrative tasks of the school such as answering phones and email, receiving visitors, assisting the principal and teachers with administrative tasks, filing, and other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Entering data into the online student information system;</li> <li>Managing student files and records;</li> <li>Generating reports;</li> <li>Answering the phones;</li> <li>Scheduling appointments; </li> <li>Speaking with Parents and Students;</li> <li>Ordering office supplies; </li> <li>Interacting with vendors;</li> <li>Assisting with various personnel duties; </li> <li>Assisting with State Testing duties; </li> <li>Responsible for requesting, filing, uploading and scanning of special population records with guidance and oversight from the Manager of Special Education;</li> <li>Assisting the Special Populations Department with a wide variety of daily responsibilities; and</li> <li>Additional duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Google Suite, and web-based applications is essential</li> <li>Special Education experience is preferred</li> <li>Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment</li> <li>Exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, both oral and written</li> <li>Customer focused approach</li> <li>High degree of flexibility </li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work well in fast-paced team environment</li> <li><span>Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication.</span></li> </ul> <p><span>Note: The anticipated starting salary for Oregon-based individuals expressing interest in this position ranges from $16-$19 per hour.
