<p>We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join the Consultec team. You are passionate about software quality, test automation, and building reliable testing processes that help deliver secure, stable, and high-performing applications. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to identify risks, prevent defects, and continuously improve software quality.</p><p>This is a remote position.</p><p>Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) is mandatory, as the role requires frequent communication and collaboration with international teams and clients.</p><h3>You will:</h3><ul><li><p>Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and backend services.</p></li><li><p>Create and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites.</p></li><li><p>Develop automated API tests for REST and/or gRPC services.</p></li><li><p>Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster software delivery.</p></li><li><p>Analyze business and technical requirements to define effective test strategies, scenarios, and acceptance criteria.</p></li><li><p>Identify, document, track, and validate software defects throughout the development lifecycle.</p></li><li><p>Perform regression testing and ensure application stability across releases.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, DevOps engineers, and other QA professionals.</p></li><li><p>Participate in code reviews related to automation scripts and testing frameworks.</p></li><li><p>Monitor automated test results, investigate failures, and improve test reliability.</p></li><li><p>Create reusable automation components and maintain scalable testing frameworks.</p></li><li><p>Validate data and database behavior through SQL queries and backend testing.</p></li><li><p>Support performance, security, and reliability testing initiatives when required.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of QA standards, processes, and best practices.</p></li><li><p>Promote a quality-first mindset across development teams.</p></li></ul><h3>Ideally, you'd have:</h3><ul><li><p>At least 3 years of relevant experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.</p></li><li><p>Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.</p></li><li><p>Experience with API automation using tools or frameworks such as Postman, RestAssured, Karate DSL, or similar.</p></li><li><p>Programming or scripting experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#, or similar languages.</p></li><li><p>Solid knowledge of automated testing frameworks and software testing methodologies.</p></li><li><p>Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.</p></li><li><p>Experience testing REST APIs and microservices.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of SQL and experience validating data in relational databases.</p></li><li><p>Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.</p></li><li><p>Experience with Git and modern version control workflows.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, K6, or similar is highly valued.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working within multidisciplinary development teams.</p></li><li><p>Understanding of software development lifecycles and quality engineering best practices.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases and potential risks.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within distributed teams.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with global teams and enterprise clients.</p></li></ul><div><p></p></div><div><div><p></p></div></div><div><div><p></p></div></div><div><p></p></div>
