<p>We are seeking a Technical Lead – Software Development to join the Consultec team. You are an experienced software engineer and technical leader passionate about designing scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications. You combine strong hands-on development expertise with the ability to guide engineering teams, define technical standards, make architectural decisions, and translate complex business requirements into effective technology solutions.</p><p>This is a remote position.</p><p>Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) is mandatory, as the role requires frequent communication, technical discussions, and collaboration with international teams and clients.</p><h3>You will:</h3><ul><li><p>Lead the technical design and development of enterprise applications using .NET, Java Spring Boot, React, and Next.js.</p></li><li><p>Define software architecture, development standards, design patterns, and technical best practices across projects.</p></li><li><p>Design scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services, APIs, and frontend applications.</p></li><li><p>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to backend and frontend developers.</p></li><li><p>Participate actively in software development while balancing hands-on coding with technical leadership responsibilities.</p></li><li><p>Lead code reviews and ensure code quality, maintainability, security, and adherence to engineering standards.</p></li><li><p>Design and oversee REST and gRPC APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration solutions.</p></li><li><p>Guide the implementation of scalable frontend architectures using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.</p></li><li><p>Define technical approaches for authentication, authorization, application security, and integration with enterprise systems.</p></li><li><p>Make architectural decisions related to databases, cloud infrastructure, containerization, scalability, and application performance.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, UX/UI, architecture teams, and business stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Analyze technical requirements, identify risks, estimate development efforts, and support technical planning and execution.</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.</p></li><li><p>Promote automated testing, CI/CD, observability, security, and modern software engineering practices.</p></li><li><p>Continuously identify opportunities to improve architecture, development processes, team productivity, and application performance.</p></li><li><p>Act as a technical reference point for the development team and support communication with clients and technical stakeholders.</p></li></ul><h3>Ideally, you'd have:</h3><ul><li><p>At least 5 years of professional software development experience, including experience leading or mentoring development teams.</p></li><li><p>Strong hands-on experience with .NET / C# and Java Spring Boot.</p></li><li><p>Strong experience with React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.</p></li><li><p>Solid knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture.</p></li><li><p>Experience designing and developing REST APIs, gRPC services, microservices, and distributed systems.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and system integration patterns.</p></li><li><p>Experience with relational and non-relational technologies such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis, Elasticsearch, or similar.</p></li><li><p>Experience with ORM technologies such as Entity Framework and Hibernate/JPA.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.</p></li><li><p>Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.</p></li><li><p>Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Git workflows, and modern software delivery practices.</p></li><li><p>Experience implementing security, scalability, performance, monitoring, and observability best practices.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with enterprise applications and/or multi-tenant SaaS environments.</p></li><li><p>Ability to perform technical analysis, architecture definition, code reviews, and technical estimations.</p></li><li><p>Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Ability to lead multidisciplinary development teams while remaining technically hands-on.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with distributed and global teams.</p></li></ul>
