<h2>Overview</h2> <p>DecisionPoint seeks an <strong>E-EFMP Development Lead and Scrum Master</strong> to serve as the principal architect and technical lead for enterprise application development supporting a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This senior role ensures that E-EFMP software solutions are secure, scalable, high-performing, and designed according to best practices for modern cloud-based architectures. </p> <p>The E-EFMP Development Lead / Scrum Master coordinates Agile execution across cross-functional engineering teams, guides secure development, mentors developers, enforces architectural standards, and collaborates with key stakeholders to support user-centric, mission-driven product delivery. </p> <p><em>This position is fully remote. </em></p> <h2>Duties & Responsibilities</h2> <p>The E-EFMP Development Lead / Scrum Master will: </p> <ul> <li>Serve as the principal architect responsible for secure, scalable, and reliable application design. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Guide development teams through technical implementation, secure coding, and modern engineering patterns. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Translate product requirements into actionable technical tasks and architecture-aligned user stories. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Oversee code quality, design integrity, integration patterns, and API interaction models. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ensure application architecture complies with DoD cybersecurity requirements and secure development guidance. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to support deployment models, CI/CD workflows, and operational readiness. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Facilitate troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex defects or system behaviors. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Mentor developers, promote engineering maturity, and drive continuous improvement. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Review technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and release readiness artifacts. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Provide coordination and leadership across engineering, product, UX, cybersecurity, and testing teams. </li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Clearance Requirement</strong> </p> <p>Must hold an active Secret clearance, supported by a Tier 3 background investigation. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Education (Required)</strong> </p> <p>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Experience (Required)</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Minimum <strong>10 years</strong> of experience in software development, architecture, or engineering leadership. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience serving as a technical lead or Scrum Master within Agile software development teams. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience architecting secure, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience supporting cloud-hosted systems, preferably AWS GovCloud. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering, UX, and cybersecurity teams. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Technical Knowledge (Required)</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of Agile development, secure coding, and DevSecOps practices. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Knowledge of enterprise software architecture, API design, and integration patterns. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity requirements, coding standards, and configuration guidelines. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and environment readiness. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical Knowledge (Preferred)</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Experience with container-based architectures or microservices. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, backend languages, or full-stack development. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and performance optimization tools. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Certifications</strong> </p> <p><strong>Required:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>CompTIA Security+ </li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) </li> </ul> <ul> <li>AWS cloud certifications </li> </ul> <ul> <li>ITIL v4 Foundation </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Agile or product delivery certifications </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Skills</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Strong leadership and facilitation skills. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Excellent communication and coordination ability across technical and non-technical teams. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong architectural decision-making and technical problem-solving capabilities. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>High attention to detail and commitment to secure, high-quality engineering. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to drive Agile maturity and predictable software delivery. </li> </ul> <h2>Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy</h2> <ul> <li><strong>EEO and Affirmative Action Policy:</strong> DecisionPoint Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
