<p>Our Finance Director will lead and oversee all financial operations of our growing global companies. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Director will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, driving financial strategy, ensuring fiscal integrity and helping position Degy for continued growth. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the entertainment industry's most respected booking and talent buying agencies to play a pivotal role in shaping its financial future. You will oversee everything from financial modeling to artist contracts and event revenue to acquisitions and international expansion.</p><p></p><p>JOB POSITION: Financial Director</p><p>TYPE: Remote Work Position </p><p>POSITIONS TO HIRE: 1 </p><p>START DATE: November 2026</p><p>COMPENSATION: Annual starting salary range: $90,000 - $100,000 USD </p><p></p><p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):</p><ul><li>Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the organization</li><li>Oversee accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance functions</li><li>Develop and maintain financial models to support executive decision making and growth initiatives</li><li>Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic planning, deal structuring, and risk management</li><li>Manage relationships with banks, auditors, legal counsel, and external financial partners</li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP standards, federal/state tax regulations, and entertainment industry contracts</li><li>Review and negotiate financial terms of artist contracts, venue agreements, and vendor deals</li><li>Oversee multi currency financial management across international operations</li><li>Build, mentor, and develop the internal finance and accounting team </li><li>Present financial performance, forecasts, and strategic insights to ownership and stakeholders</li><li>Recommend and optimize financial systems, processes, and internal controls</li><li>Monitor cash flow, working capital, and profitability across all business lines</li><li>Oversee Human Resources functions including employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR policy development</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul> <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field</li><li>CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred</li><li>MBA or advanced degree in Finance/Business a plus</li><li>8+ years of progressive financial leadership experience</li><li>Proven track record as a Finance Director, CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent senior finance role</li><li>Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls</li><li>Demonstrated experience with international finance and multi currency operations</li><li>Proficiency in QuickBooks, Salesforce, accounting ERP systems, and advanced Excel/financial modeling</li><li>Proficiency with payroll systems and payroll processing platforms</li><li>Strong knowledge of state tax compliance including payroll taxes, sales taxes, and income taxes across multiple jurisdictions</li><li>Understanding of contract finance, royalties, and talent/event revenue structures</li><li>Comfortable working in an Apple MacOS/Apple product environment</li><li>Must be a United States Citizen or qualified to work in the U.S. Must be based in the United States.</li></ul> <ul><li>Opportunities for bonuses based on performance.</li><li>Salary increases based on performance.</li><li>Qualification into company’s 401k plan after required time served.</li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) including vacation and paid holidays.</li><li>General work expenses covered (office Wi-Fi, computer, travel).</li><li>Optional cell phone service offered through corporate phone plan.</li></ul>
