<div><p data-pasted="true" style="text-align: center;"><strong>Part-Time Construction Inspector </strong></p><p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Remote - Central / South Florida</strong></p><p><br></p><p style="margin-left:0in;">The successful applicant will join a highly motivated conservation team dedicated toward accomplishing Ducks Unlimited’s (DU) mission. Applicant will assist a regional team deliver wetland, riparian, and associated habitat restoration projects in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee.</p><p style="margin-left:0in;">The successful applicant will: (1) serve as DU’s representative on construction projects, while performing a variety of inspections to verify contractor’s compliance with plans, specifications, and standards; (2) prepare inspection reports and maintain project records; (3) be responsible for the operation of various surveying equipment to assist with construction surveys; (4) assist Regional Engineer(s) and other Technician(s) with a variety of administrative duties. </p><p style="margin-left:0in;">The position is remote but the successful applicant must be based out of Central to South Florida.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Knowledge of methods and techniques of project administration, construction inspection and materials testing.</li><li>Knowledge in heavy construction work methods, practices, materials and equipment. (10 years minimum experience the construction field required). </li><li>Experience and knowledge in construction surveying techniques, including GPS and the ability to assist in both design and construction surveys. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work with public and private conservation partners.</li><li>Demonstrated oral and written interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to operate ATV and outboard boats in various environments.</li><li>Self-motivated and goal oriented.</li><li>Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, willingness to work independently, willingness to travel out of town and overnight on a regular basis, ability to work in inclement weather, and ability to work with minimal supervision in remote work environments.</li></ul><p><br></p><p style="margin-left:0in;" data-pasted="true"><strong><em>Benefits/Pay: </em></strong><em><u>Salary will be based on experience and education.</u> DU offers an exceptional benefit package, including comprehensive group medical, prescription, dental and vision insurance, including spouse and dependent coverage; three weeks paid vacation, paid sick leave, and ten paid holidays; 401(k) plan (including partial employer match); and tuition reimbursement.</em></p><p style="margin-left:0in;" data-pasted="true"><strong><em>To Apply:</em></strong><em> Please complete all application materials and attach your resume, cover letter, and three professional references.</em></p><p><br></p><p><strong><span style="font-size: 12px;"><u>DUCKS UNLIMITED, INC.
