<div><p style="text-align: center;" data-pasted="true"><strong>Regional Director of Event Fundraising </strong></p><p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Western North Carolina</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Ducks Unlimited has an opening for a <strong>Full-Time</strong> <strong>Regional Director of Event Fundraising for Western North Carolina</strong>. This position<strong> </strong>will be responsible for the management of all facets of event fundraising within the region. This is a remote position, and the preferred candidate will live in the <strong>Charlotte, North Carolina</strong> metropolitan area. <em>As a remote employee, you may be required to come in at any time, with reasonable notice, into a DU office (or other designated location) for meetings and other business needs.</em></p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong>Regional Directors’ duties and responsibilities encompass the management of all facets of event fundraising within the region including: </p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;"><li>Recruitment and training of volunteers </li><li>Managing volunteer efforts in support of Ducks Unlimited fundraising events </li><li>Fostering growth within the region with emphasis on new chapter development; internal growth within existing committees; identification and development of non-traditional fundraising opportunities and major donor identification and management</li><li>Coordination and collaboration with the Florida fundraising team and volunteers</li></ul><p> <br><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>BA or BS from an accredited institution is required. Volunteer experience with non-profit organizations will benefit candidates and volunteer experience with Ducks Unlimited is desired. </li><li>This position requires an aptitude for building and managing relationships with a diverse group of volunteers with an emphasis on effective verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Candidates must be able to work with proficiency on a personal computer with basic skills in MS Office applications and have a working familiarity with the Internet.
