<p><span><span><span>ECS is seeking a <strong><em>Solution Engineer </em></strong>to work <strong><em>remotely</em></strong>. </span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span>We are currently seeking an organized, detailed oriented, and Solutions Engineer to join our team. This role will entail working closely with the client to understand needs and pain-points, and designing, configuring, and implementing technical solutions across a range of cloud providers, virtualization platforms, and supporting infrastructure.</span><span> </span></span></p> <p><span> </span></p> <p><strong><span>Responsibilities:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span>Finding intelligent ways to solve problems without a lot of repeat work</span></li> <li><span>Leveraging expertise to advise and create solutions that are simple, secure, and maintainable</span></li> <li><span>Build, maintain, and update automation code and/or scripts</span></li> <li><span>Support Linux and Windows environments</span></li> <li><span>Help develop strategies to scale, secure, monitor, and maintain cloud hosted services</span></li> <li><span>Optimize the observability of the environment</span></li> <li><span>Design and implement continuous integration and delivery automation in support of software, configuration, and infrastructure management</span></li> <li><span>Support, architect, and troubleshoot network changes in a hybrid cloud environment</span></li> <li><span>Development of microservices and applications</span></li> <li><span>Finding opportunities to use data and metrics to inform decisions and create changes to improve the environment</span></li> </ul> <p><em><span>Salary Range: $100,000 - $160,000</span></em></p> <p><span><span><a href="https://ecstech.com/careers/benefits"><em><span>General Description of Benefits</span></em></a></span></span></p><div>Qualifications</div><ul> <li><span>Understanding of Git and how to use it</span></li> <li><span>Familiarity working in Agile / SCRUM Development environments</span></li> <li><span>Experience with bash and/or PowerShell</span></li> <li><span>Deep knowledge of tuning Linux internals & core system services (DNS, SMTP, Syslog, IPTables, etc.)</span></li> <li><span>Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud Environments</span></li> <li><span>Experience with containerization and microservice architectures</span></li> </ul>
