Provider Compensation Analyst - Remote - Full Time at Erlanger Health System

<p>JOB SUMMARY: <br />The Provider Compensation Analyst provides compensation consultative services for Erlanger Medical Group employed providers and independent contracted providers of Erlanger Health. The Provider Compensation Analyst will work closely with leadership in Provider Recruitment, EMG Operations and EMG Business Office to provide analysis of compensation design and benchmarking, physician productivity analysis, fair market value, and contract review and management. <br /><br />- Conduct benchmarking and data analysis to formulate compensation recommendations that align with the system's standards for compensation programs<br />- Interpret, analyze, and implement compensation arrangements as stipulated in Provider Employment Agreements<br />- Manage components and participate in annual/bi-annual provider contract review process by preparing productivity reports, providing recommendations on salary adjustments, gathering and analyzing data to determine incentive goal achievements, etc.<br />- Participate and complete annual provider compensation and productivity surveys<br />- Participate in and collaborate closely with external appraisers/consultants to obtain an analysis of fair market value (FMV) and commercial reasonableness (CR) for all proposed compensation plans<br />- Partner with Provider Recruitment and Operations teams in solving business and operations issues <br />- Partner with EMG Business Office and as needed, serve as back up to the EMG Financial Analyst on calculations of Provider incentive compensation, variable compensation and uploads to Payroll<br /><br />Education:<br />Required: <br />Bachelor's degree (in business, health care administration or finance), or related field required<br /><br />Preferred:<br />Master's degree in health/hospital administration, business administration, finance or related field preferred. <br /><br />Experience:<br />Required: <br />-Minimum of Five (5) or more years of finance or compensation experience<br />-Two (2) years of physician or provider compensation experience and/or solid understanding of physician billing and productivity measures (i.e. CPT, wRVU, Charges, Collections, etc)<br />-Two (2) years of experience in a hospital or healthcare related environment<br />-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook<br /><br />Preferred:<br />-Ability to effectively and professionally communicate verbally and in writing to key stakeholders within the organization.<br />-Ability to multi-task projects<br /><br />Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration<br />Preferred: N/A<br /><br />Department Position Summary: <br />The Provider Compensation Analyst provides compensation consultative services for Erlanger Medical Group employed providers and independent contracted providers of Erlanger Health.
