<p>Description</p><p><strong>SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE</strong></p><p>To serve our community through volunteerism and produce a return on assets which will assure the future prosperity of our employees and our company. To accurately and timely report all store-level transaction data. To safeguard company assets and policies.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></p><ul><li> Adhere to the company’s vision and mission</li><li> Build relationships, promote the living brand, and serve as a product/brand advocate</li><li> Adhere to company policies and approved accounting procedures</li><li> Safeguard all assets</li><li> Have a thorough understanding and proficiency in all accounting systems</li><li> Daily review and accurate entry of store accounting paperwork</li><li> Monitor store level compliance with accounting policy and procedures</li><li> Ensure all daily deposits are accurate, timely, and completed per policy</li><li> Must be available to work at least half of assigned hours during store manager’s shift</li><li> Ensure all supporting paperwork documents have been received into Laserfische</li><li> Serves as backup for SAA vacation</li><li> All other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>COMPETENCIES</strong></p><ul><li> Integrity and accountability</li><li> Innovation and creativity</li><li> Adaptive and flexible</li><li> Teamwork and leadership</li><li> Self-confidence and humility</li><li> Professionalism and work ethic</li></ul><p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY</strong></p><p>This position has no supervisory responsibilities.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT</strong></p><p>Must have flexibility, all days of the week, when necessary. Must be able to work effectively from home and communicate proficiently by electronic means.</p><p><strong>TRAVEL</strong></p><p>No travel outside of occasional trainings and meetings at the home office.</p><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>ROLE QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p>Associate Degree in accounting or equivalent accounting experience</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li> Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook</li><li> Previous retail experience</li><li> Digital literacy</li></ul><p><strong>MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p>High School Graduate or Equivalent</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p>Associate Degree</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS</strong></p><ul><li> Strong team player; Teamwork and the ability to enhance team members’ performance</li><li> Situational awareness</li><li> Strong customer orientation</li><li> Time management; including multitasking, productivity, and a sense of urgency</li><li> Excellent interpersonal and highly effective communication skills</li><li> Commitment to company mission, vision and values</li><li> Adaptability; flexibility and receptive to change</li><li> Problem analysis & problem resolution at both strategic & functional level</li><li> Effective decision making based on sound judgment and reasoning</li><li> Ability to read, write and understand English</li><li> 10 key proficiency</li><li> Ability to effectively telecommute and utilize computers, phones, video-conference tools etc., comfortable operating in several applications simultaneously, to support store personnel</li><li> Must have your own high speed internet DSL or Cable service. DSL connection should be 2.5 mbps connection or higher and Cable at 15 mbps or higher</li><li> A quiet, distraction-free, location that is private and a confidential place to work</li></ul><p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for prolonged periods; work longer than eight (8) hour shifts, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch; talk and hear; taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.</p>
