Position Overview<p>We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Web Developer who can own the development, publishing, and</p><p>optimization of client websites, primarily on WordPress and Shopify, with exposure to other CMS platforms.</p><p>This is a hands-on role that blends front-end development, CMS page building, SEO troubleshooting, and</p><p>analytics/tracking setup.</p><p><br />You’ll collaborate closely with content strategists and project managers to turn briefs and Google Docs into</p><p>high-performing pages that are technically sound, visually polished, and conversion-focused.</p><p></p>Key Responsibilities<p>• WordPress Site Management</p><p>• Update and maintain WordPress sites and pages (ACF, custom templates, theme modifications,</p><p>Elementor Pro, WPBakery, Divi, etc.).</p><p>• Implement new sections, templates, and layout variations based on briefs, wireframes, or existing</p><p>design systems.</p><p>• Shopify Development</p><p>• Build and maintain Shopify collections, custom pages, and theme changes using JSON and Liquid.</p><p>• Support custom logic for templates, product/collection layouts, and landing pages.</p><p>• Content Formatting & Page Building</p><p>• Transform Google Docs and content outlines into clean, conversion-optimized web pages.</p><p>• Structure content for readability and engagement using headings, spacing, CTAs, visual hierarchy, and</p><p>media (images, tables, etc.).</p><p>• SEO & Technical Quality</p><p>• Apply on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headings, internal links, schema, Yoast/Rank Math</p><p>configuration).</p><p>• Use tools such as Google Lighthouse, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs to identify and help resolve technical</p><p>SEO issues.</p><p>• Analytics & Tracking</p><p>• Assist in configuring tracking setups in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.</p><p>• Help implement and validate event tracking (form submissions, key button clicks, conversions) as</p><p>needed.</p><p>• Quality Assurance</p><p>• Review published pages for formatting accuracy, responsiveness, and technical performance.</p><p>• Test across devices and browsers to ensure a consistent user experience.</p><p>• CMS Adaptability</p><p>• Work in different CMS environments (e.g., Headless WordPress, Webflow, Framer) when required.</p><p>• Follow established workflows, naming conventions, and client-specific publishing processes.</p> Qualifications<p>• 4+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience (including ACF, theme edits, custom</p><p>templates, and page builders such as Elementor Pro, WPBakery, and Divi).</p><p>• 1+ years of Shopify development experience working with JSON and Liquid.</p><p>• Strong HTML and CSS skills, plus basic JavaScript for front-end interactions and enhancements.</p><p>• Demonstrated portfolio of live sites, with the ability to walk through your contributions (from code</p><p>and/or CMS dashboard).</p><p>• 3+ References that include at minimum: full name, company, role/title, phone, and/or email, and</p><p>dates (from/to).</p><p>• Working knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Lighthouse fundamentals.</p><p>• English level: C1 (comfortable communicating with an international, English-speaking team).</p><p></p>Nice-to-Haves<p>• Familiarity with task management tools such as Asana, Jira, or Teamwork.</p><p>• Basic proficiency in design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Figma (resizing images, exporting</p><p>assets, handling SVGs).</p><p>• Experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to assist with coding, troubleshooting, and</p><p>documentation.</p><p>• A good eye for design and basic UX/UI principles, with the ability to structure content for clarity, visual</p><p>appeal, and user engagement.</p><p></p><p></p> <ul><li>Salary of $2,500 - $2,700, depending on experience</li><li>2 Weeks of PTO</li><li>Fully Remote</li></ul><p></p>Compensation<ul><li>Salary range: $30,000–$32,400, commensurate with experience</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>This is a full-time position focused on web development across multiple client accounts.</p><p></p>
