<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p><p>Focus Interpreting is seeking a dedicated Hebrew Interpreter to join our interpretation team. The interpreter will provide accurate and professional interpretation services between Hebrew and English in-person or through Video Remote Interpreting (VRI).</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><ul><li>Provide professional Hebrew-English interpretation services onsite and remotely via VRI.</li><li>Facilitate clear and effective communication in a variety of settings</li><li>Accurately interpret spoken communication from Hebrew into English and from English into Hebrew in real time.</li><li>Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and interpretation standards.</li><li>Demonstrate professionalism, impartiality, cultural sensitivity, accuracy, and attention to detail during all interpretation sessions.</li><li>Stay informed about relevant terminology and developments in the Hebrew language to ensure high-quality interpretation.</li></ul><p>REQUIREMENTS:</p><ul><li>Fluency in Hebrew and English.</li><li>Must be based in the United States, near Chatsworth preferred</li><li>Certification, training, or qualifications in interpretation preferred but not required</li><li>Prior experience with VRI interpretation preferred</li><li>Strong communication and listening skills</li><li>Ability to interpret accurately and efficiently in real time</li><li>Understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to provide culturally sensitive interpretation</li><li>Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism</li><li>Reliable high-speed internet connection and appropriate equipment for VRI services.</li></ul><p>If you are a skilled and professional Hebrew interpreter looking to provide high-quality onsite and remote interpretation services, we would love to hear from you!</p> <ul><li>Fluency in Hebrew and English </li><li> Must be based in the United States </li><li> Certification or qualifications in interpretation, not required but preferred </li><li> Strong communication and listening skills </li></ul> <p>Paid by assignment per hour. </p>
