With a strong background in software engineering and leadership, we help companies build high-performing teams by matching them with professionals who truly fit their needs.</p><p></p><p>Role Overview</p><p>We are looking for experienced US-qualified attorneys with current or prior Vault Law 100 experience to support a project focused on improving how advanced AI systems understand, analyse, and generate sophisticated legal content.</p><p>You will conduct legal research, review complex legal materials, evaluate AI-generated outputs, and draft or refine memoranda, contracts, opinions, and other professional legal documents. This role is designed for lawyers with strong exposure to high-stakes transactions, litigation, regulatory matters, or complex advisory work. Previous AI experience is not required.</p><p></p><p>CONTRACT: Freelance contractor, project-based</p><p>COMMITMENT: Flexible, based on project workload</p><p>LOCATIONS: Fully remote, United States</p><p>PROCESS: Application review, legal expertise assessment (AI-led), onboarding</p><p>HOURLY RATE: $140 - $280/h</p><p>]NOTES: Current or previous experience at a Vault Law 100 firm is mandatory.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Conduct detailed legal research across a range of US law topics. </li><li>Analyse complex legal issues and develop well-supported conclusions. </li><li>Draft and edit memoranda, contracts, opinions, and other legal materials. </li><li>Review AI-generated legal content for accuracy, clarity, and analytical quality. </li><li>Identify legal errors, unsupported conclusions, inconsistencies, and ambiguities. </li><li>Provide structured written feedback based on professional legal standards. </li><li>Evaluate complex or high-stakes legal scenarios. </li><li>Support quality assurance across legal documents and project deliverables. </li><li>Collaborate remotely with legal, technical, and project stakeholders.</li></ul> <ul><li>Active licence to practise law in at least one US jurisdiction. </li><li>Current or previous experience at a Vault Law 100 firm. </li><li>Strong experience in legal research, analysis, drafting, and document review. </li><li>Exposure to sophisticated transactional, litigation, regulatory, or advisory matters. </li><li>Experience producing high-quality legal work under demanding professional standards. </li><li>Current residence in the United States.</li></ul>
